Go early enough before the food runs out. The chicken fried steak I ordered was really salty, but the mac and cheese was delicious!!! The brisket was so moist and full of flavor. I have had friends tell me otherwise, so maybe it's inconsistent.

My husband will stop here at least once a week for a homestyle homemade delicious chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, or best of the best brisket. Their sides are truly awesome! Price per plate was very fair. Food is served in good portion. Family owned and operated with excellent and personal service— I felt like I was in a Southern Hallmark movie. Loved this place! 5++++ Stars!

Daughter and son in law came down to the valley to visit and had seen Teddy's BBQ on the bucket list so he wanted to try it. We walked in a little before 11am on Saturday. We got there at a good time as it really got busy after that. Owner is super personable, really comes across as loving what he does. We got the specials of the day. SIL had the plate with three different meats and said they were all really good but the ribs were definitely his favorite. Hubby and I shared the 1/2 chicken dinner with loaded mash potatoes and creamed corn. Excellent!! Chicken was awesome and the loaded mashed potatoes and cream corn was to die for. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going back here again. :)
The best BBQ you will have south of Austin. Highly recommended. Try the jalapeño cheddar sausage.
