I ate their chopped brisket (w/extra meat) baked potato. It was honestly the best cooked potato I've ever eaten. I have chives & jalapeños & bbq sauce on it. Nothing else. I ate the entire potato, including skin. Absolutely perfectly cooked!Brisket was moist & smoked perfectly. Their BBQ Sauce is tomatoe based, so I added pepper vinegar to it and BAM! GREAT Sauce. I will definitely eat their again.Kid-friendliness: Kid / family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible all around.

Some of the best BBQ in Brazoria County! Had an amazing first time experience. First off the atmosphere was great. Super friendly staff and made us feel welcomed. Even had the owners come up and chat with us during and after. Staff helped our family navigate the menu and didn't rush us. Next the food. Again some of the best BBQ I had in Brazoria county. The brisket was super moist and flavorful. The turkey was moist and fresh. The kids loved the half slab of ribs! I really liked the flavor of the sauce. It wasn't overpowering or sweet just right. I got the mac n cheese and it was good, and would recommend the sausage chicken jambalaya. It felt like a meal on its own! For dessert we had homemade strawberry cake and they serve House of Pies pecan pie. My family all agreed we will definitely be back! Look forward to trying their other menu items as well.

Good menu, very nice atmosphere, and good food. Service was a bit on the slow side and food was not hot when served. Otherwise, food was very good and was a good place to get quality

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Food was excellent, service was ?. Since I don't live anywhere around here, I probably won't be back, BUT I will definitely tell everyone about this place.

The flavor of the meat is amazing! No bbq sauce required. The price is a little high but the size of the sides makes up for it.

Where should I start? When I seen the Republic BBQ sign with the State of Texas outlined. I thought to myself, this place is going to be delicious. Generous portions, great tasting food and so forth. I was so excited.... but boy was I wrong. So wrong. My wife and I ate there earlier today. We arrived and order our food. The tall white dude carving the meat looked like he didn't want to be there. It was written all over his face. He kept looking over to the latina with the red lipstick working the register and downlow flirting back and forth. It was weird. Anyways, I ordered a sliced beef sandwich and so did my wife. My sandwich had 4 small pieces of meat. I mean like pinky finger small. My wife's sandwich only had 3 small pieces. It wasnt consistent with my small four pieces. The dude cut our meat order in half and split it, to make two sandwiches. That's what it seemed like. It was the flattest brisket sandwich we ever had. Also, the bottom bun was hard. Like starting to get stale hard. We ordered fries and one peach desert. When I tasted the dessert it tasted like it had been microwaved and then brought out. Don't come here. It was a waste of $48. I could have went to HEB down the street and spent $15 for two on rotisserie chicken, bread and drinks. You've been warned.Parking: It's spacious.
