“I came in after a long day of traveling from Colorado on my way to San Antonio. I came in at 830 pm, thirty minutes before they close. Jackie and Erica were very kind, gracious, patient and helpful.Jackie was my server, and she was very helpful and gracious. She was willing to answer all my questions about the food as well as talk with me.The food was very good and the restaurant is clean and cheerful. The chairs at the tables are gorgeous painted chairs.After a very long day of driving, their kindness and graciousness was very appreciated.”

“I was delivering some feed and stopped at Maxey’s Steakhouse. I ask the waitress what she would recommend and it was the Shisko Kbob’s for me. It was delicious. They make their own rolls. The salad bar was excellent also. My tea glass never went empty, that’s my pet peeve. This is a small town restaurant and I enjoyed just watching people visiting with other tables. I will definitely stop the next time I’m around that part of Texas.”

“Fast service for dine in. Name on the side of the building is Sunset Diner. Kids had a pizza, wife had fried chicken sandwich, I had burger with bacon and fried egg. We ordered root beer floats and a chocolate shake.The lady behind the counter made sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars.”
