“Just crossed this cafe off of my list, which I have been looking forward to for some time. Pros: - No wait - Great service - Reasonably Priced - Meaty sandwiches Cons: - Sandwiches are good, but aren't great. Cheap bread, cheap sides, mediocre soup. This is a fun spot. Will certainly come back, I'm just not expecting out of this world food.“

“I stopped in for a late to go lunch to take back to my office. I've eaten here several times with friends and get a baked potato or soup and sandwich. I saw the special and thought that would be perfect for a late lunch. I was not disappointed! The Baked Chicken Quiche was very good as well as the fruit cup with mandarin oranges, apples and pineapple. My favorite though had to be the Zucchini Bread which was flavorful and moist. I think I have found my go to when I need to pick up a quick lunch to take back to the office. I do not have any pictures since I ate my lunch before I decided to submit the review.“

“This cute café is inside a convenience store and is very unassuming. The staff were helpful and fast with our food. Gluten free options were very appreciated. By noon, the line was to the door. This looks to be popular with the locals. Definitely worth a try!“

“Excellent food variety compared to other universities I've visited, always had vegetarian options for those who need that, and you can find Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican/Asian, grilled and home-style buffet food most days! Sometimes the lines are long and the atmosphere is not exactly a cozy restaurant, but overall this is a great option for students, staff, and visitors to LeTourneau University!“

“Had dinner and cocktails last night at Barron's. It has a nice atmosphere and a friendly, well-trained staff. The menu needs some updating. They have had tomato basil soup forever! They need to add another soup choice.The trout and salmon had their sauces changed earlier this year but how about changing the fish choices. It would be nice to add a chicken piccata or a chicken parmesan or maybe a shrimp dish. The shrimp and grits were great ! Bring them back or add a light shrimp and pasta dish.The buffalo burger and Sonoran chicken sandwich are great but who really wants a sandwich when they go out for a nice dinner at night?! Time for a change or an update to the appetizers! This is not a chain restaurant and they have total control of changing their menu at any time. This is about the nicest restaurant in Longview but I find myself thinking what will I eat when I go to Barron's .“
