Wow. Just wow. Best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. And that’s saying something as I’ve been eating chicken fried steak regularly for over 50 years…. Have cut fries are just like my Grandma used to make. And the best fried okra I’ve eaten since my Mama passed away. You owe it to yourself to give the Cove a try.

Best burger I’ve ever had!!! Nothing can beat how fresh the burger tastes and the hand cut fries that you know you’re getting real potatoes and not some processed stuff. I’m not even a burger person and it got me!!

Just keep at it with the drive in...lol, you'll get there! Had Catfish dinner for two. The poppers were also delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic, they had just decorated for the Christmas season. The staff was friendly and attentive. The whole setting of the grounds, the cottages, and the restaurant next to the pool was just enchanting! What a gem of a place! !

Had a wonderful meal tonight- fried catfish, grilled catfish, chicken fried steak, & patty melt. Will definitely be back when we're in the area! And, beautiful setting!
Came with a dog so I've only seen the outside. What a nice place to stop for lunch while camping! The patio is so wonderful with lot of plants, a fish pond, and seasonal decor! Right past the patio is a small grassy area and view of the lake. Put me in a great mood. I highly recommend for an enjoyable and delicious meal!(The club sandwich is exceptional)

Best catfish, I've had, both grilled and fried! Very quiet and quaint lodge feel location tucked away in a cove on Lake Whitney. Great service and large portions too. If you're in the area, it's worth making your way here for a wonderful lunch.
