Burgers are good, but we really like the burger steak with salad and home fries . . . BUT . . . Check to make sure they have knives and forks! They were missing forks our last trip. Ever try to eat a salad and burger steak without a fork? Dang nigh impossible! I really thought Heff’s should have comped us something.
We were in search of a different place when we stumbled upon this diner. Set as a fifties burger joint, Heff's has a certain charm. The menu includes some chicken and alt-meat items, so something for most everyone in your group. If you're hungry go with the Heff size option. 1/2 pounds of hamburger goodness. I've been away for awhile, and I just got back into town. And the first thing I needed when I got here was Heff's . That cheeseburger with the egg on it is immaculate. Chocolate shake never disappoints. The nostalgia of the joint ties everything to make a spiffing establishment .
