The people were nice so it hurts me to write this review, but this restaurant had some of the worst tasting and most bland food I've ever eaten. The only thing that was alright was the macaroni & cheese and the toast. Otherwise the meat was flavorless, the beans were flavorless, the food was horrible and I greatly regret going here.

Sliced beef sandwich, beans, potato salad and onion rings were delicious. Apple and Cherry fried pies were hot and delicious as well. You gotta try this.
We walked in on my birthday at 2:50pm and was met with dirty looks and then entire crew verbally sighing and running to the back screaming we have 9 mins!! We turned around and left because I’m sure our food would’ve been as horrible as their attitudes.

Won't be going back. Twenty-four minute wait for a cheeseburger and onion rings at 11:20 in the morning. I was the first eat in customer there. Hamburger and ORs were cold when delivered by the semi-going through the motions employee. She certainly wasn't a waitress and there was no reason for me to tip at the point of sale. I should have waited to tip. Nice try, but try again.

Great chopped bbq beef I buy it by the pound take it home make sandwiches on wheat bread because I'm on a fixed income awesome. Great fried okra. Best ever home style fried onion rings. Really great bbq beans only had them one time kinda pricey for beans if you are on a fixed income but very good. Tried the burger one time not that good. But most of there other menu items are very good there bbq beef is clean lean meat no trash grissle or fat top of the line. and chopped bbq beef buy the pound take out is the best price I have found. Brisket was dry and no seasoning with no smoke flavor so it was bland. Ribs were ok. There is better BBQ in MN.
I got the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs. They advertise fall off the bone but are tough. You definitely need teeth to remove the meat from the bone and there is no smoked meat flavor. The only flavor is the sauce you choose to add to it. The sweet baked beans were the only good part of my 24.00 meal. I very disappointing experience. Especially coming from Texas where they pride themselves on their bbq culinary arts.
