So when approaching Wichita Falls today en route to my final destination, I searched for it, happening to arrive shortly after their 5pm opening hour.I was surprised (as I was the first time) at how un-busy it was, especially given the food quality. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and vegetables. When my server asked about spice, I replied with one word: “Medium.”Sweet Mother of Jesus, that was HOT! I was sweating, but loving every minute of it. I had to ask for a glass of water to try to put out the fire, to no avail. My tongue was smoking for a good 30 minutes afterward. If you are averse to heat, maybe say “Mild” or “None.”I was especially touched by all the employees wishing me—again, the only customer—a Merry Christmas as I exited. That was really nice. I will remember, and shall return next time through town.Vegetarian options: As with all Asian restaurants, you can cobble together a meal no matter your dietary needs. Just ask. They gladly went slightly off-menu to serve veggies and tofu Pad Thai, no egg.“
