Food not as good as it used to be. The fajitas were not grilled, the onions and peppers were raw. Chips taste like they are out of a bag. Not the quality of the past

The salsa is like water, the meat had no flavor and there were roaches in the bathroom. Their service was really good though.

Do you like salty guac? How about cold watery queso? Better yet, how about a steak burrito that may have come prepackaged and frozen from Costco?Well this place is for you!The fajitas looked depressed, the tamales crumbled like cheap stucco, and the salsa was competing with the queso for most watery. Hands down one of the worst Mexican food experiences. The ONLY saving grace was the waiter who was friendly and trying hard to make this terrible meal a good experience.

We went for lunch , no one to be seen in front or any where , that worked there . So we waited and waited , we left . How do these people stay in business ? won't be going back , waste of time . Do better Vaca Loca .

What a fall from grace :( - This used to be me and my wifes go to spot to eat. We hadn't been in roughly a month and decided to go. When I say everything went down hill/corners cut.. I mean everything.Incredibly poor staff attentivness. For whatever reason they went with paper straws now, The chips/Salsa weren't filled all the way, queso was watered down, out meals were over cooked to where the tortillas were rock solid on both of our dishes, the meat in the dishes was not the same as before (cheaper cut) and you got less. But guess what didn't change? The price was still the same. It was worse than a fast food taco spot. The dissapointment was massive and the staff didn't seem to care as we were not the only ones expressing dissapointment. Won't be returning. Shame :(

The waitress was great but the food was mediocre at best. We haven't been in a long time and should have stayed away! The chips and hot sauce were fresh and outstanding. My plate looked like a child put it together and the meat tasted like it was from yesterday. I know that things are hard right now but I sure hope things improve

Use to be our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!! Now NOT. Today skimpy on hot sauce, rice not done, enchilada tough, no tamales, taco smaller. Really sad :(

Went in today and got fajitas for 2. The chips were so bad you could get a burnt bitter taste. We tried another bowl and they got worse. I told the waitress and she asked if we wanted more but they were so bad we gave up on them. I told them they may need to change their oil. We really like this place but these chips will lose them business!

I’ve been eating at voca loco since it first started in the restaurant by the puttputt course. Probably been about 20 years, we ate there at Maplewood, the other night and the food was the absolute worst I’ve ever ate from there. You could’ve Throwed the rice against the wall and it would stick it was so gummy. The chili sauce has been changed for some reason. The ground beef in the enchilada was burnt. The only thing that was like it was 20 years ago. Was the beans. It was always my favorite Mexican restaurant to go to but now I guess I’m gonna have to go downtown to casaMana and eat. Hard chips. Was so disappointed. The time before that my wife got sick due to the rice sitting out too long. I’ve lost my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. So sad.

My girlfriend currently is experiencing FOOD POISONING. We had only went for happy hour that ended horribly. As soon as we left the restaurant she had thrown up. Her chest was heavy, she couldn't breathe and I was scared for her. She continued to throw up when we got home and is still experiencing nausea almost 3 hours after we left the restaurant. We Will NOT be going back again. The happy hour SUCKED, it was only margaritas. No beer and the bartender didn't know what alcohol she had on hand. The service was alright. It being slow, we got seated and served quick but were unable to sit at the bar due to " that side being closed". There was no music playing and even the tvs had no sound. The michelada was fine, nothing special and was made with store bought mix and rimmed with salt instead of chamoy + tajin. My girlfriend had the margarita, strawberry flavor. At first it only tasted like the syrup but it gave a small buzz ( more than we even expected). The food was BASIC & definitely from a can. We shared the shredded chicken enchiladas and I was not satisfied. WHY WAS THE CREAM HOT? everyone knows sour cream curdles and isn't supposed to be hot nor served hot, seems like a health hazard, but not sure so don't quote me. I will not be going back and I warn people to be very careful when eating from there. Not sure if it's the canned food or maybe the kitchen is dirty, but the way the food poisoning hit has me thinking the worse. Wish I had something better to say.

I really hate writing this as it used to be one of our favorite places. Everything has changed. The quesadillas were made with American cheese ?. The restrooms were out of order. The waitresses were short handed and as a result the service was horrible. No more homemade chips, just round chips out of a bag. We won't be back.

I ordered the Chimichanga and it has the most tasty flavors. The salsa has a unique flavor that was a delightful surprise. I tried to get the ingredients but they wouldn't reveal the secrets. The margaritas are the bomb also. The food is great and I highly recommend.
