I've never had a croissant donut (or kolache) before, but holy cow! They are amazing and I'm officially obsessed! We got the sea salt caramel donut, the blueberry donut, and a turkey/pepper jack kolache. Everything is made with a croissant base and it is all delicious! Delicious cronuts, but I don't like that they now close so early. Why be called Nightlight? They used to be the only place to get a yummy doughnut treat after 2 P.M. Now they are like all the other places. : (

I'm so sad that I live in Chicagoland and can't come here regularly! We arrived at 7:30am on a Sunday and got a collection of donut knots (holes basically)--glazed, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate covered. Those donuts are so moist and flaky all at once. They were fresh and warm and literally melted in my mouth. Ridiculously delicious! Do yourself a favor and give them a try!
