4 stars — mostly for variety of food — Food quality is OK. Employee spirit not what it used to be here, and certainly not what it was at the predecessor Alpenglow restaurant/outhouse, home of the Alta snow snake.
Alf's is always crowded, and with good reason. Their chili and fries are the two stars of the show, but the deli and Grill food is good too. Prices are definitely higher than you'd pay down in the valley, but it's a good place to go relax in the middle of your ski day.

The new renovation at Alf’s offers even more beautiful views of Alta. My kids get fries, and my husband loves a good CHETO (grilled cheese sandwich with tomato).
