Often times restaurants aren’t as good as their reputation. Gourmandise in American Fork is the opposite. I feel like American Fork has yet to realize what it has! It has the same recipes as Draper and SLC, and those are always PACKED. Their American Fork location is usually half full. This is my family's favorite special occasion place to get pastries. They always have a variety of tarts, cakes, cookies, croissants, and more, and everything we've bought has been amazing.My favorites are the kouign-amann and the almond horn. I loved my visit! I was skeptical if the quality of food and service is going to be the same as the Salt Lake one, but I worried for nothing. Our server, Ian, was so kind and considerate for us. Food quality was so high and delicious and honestly we enjoyed our time so much. Will definitely go back!
