As all the other reviewers can vouch here, the sushi is great. I decided to go for their katsudon during lunch and it was good! The cutlet was tender, juicy and crispy. The sauce was great as well and not too sweet. My only complaints are a bit picky but the rice was a little hard and flaky and the katsudon had too much sauce for my liking. Bit of a concern when my rice is slimming in sauce.

Went there and we were pleasantly surprise. Their rolls were one of the tastiest ones we had so far. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and well made. The atmosphere is pretty nice as well and the servers were friendly.

My new favorite restaurant!!! I've had hundreds of Vegas rolls from around the country and Jason's was my favorite by far! I asked for one "freestyled" he even got out a blowtorch! It was cool and we were blown away at how delicious it was! My husband got the ramen and again it was amazing. I'll definitely be coming again!

Ordered a takeout order for a quick dinner! Got the Vegas roll and the volcano roll. The food was ready for pick up on time, was hot, and looked fresh. The Vegas roll was average. It didn't have a ton of flavor. There are better Vegas rolls at other local sushi restaurants around. The volcano roll was really good. It had a nice flavor and the salmon was cooked perfectly. It was tasty. I would definitely order that one again. One downside was that the volcano roll fell apart when I picked it up with my chopsticks. It was not well in tact or put together. Will I be back? Sure. If a friend wants to go here, I will go. I will just be sure to not get the Vegas roll.

Nice casual place for a decent meal. I haven't tried their sushi yet, but the sashimi is pretty fresh! Also tried their $9.99 steak bento box and it was good. Would come back for sushi!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was good. The only complaint I have is that the dish I got which was a shrimp tempura dish was mostly vegetables than shrimp. It was like 6 things of shrimp and like 12 fried veggies that overpowered the plate altogether. Luckily we ordered enough sushi to eat until we were full. The sashimi was very good. Nice and fresh.

Really enjoyed my first time here last night. So did my Mom and my brother. We luckily found a good restaurant open until 11pm since my family and I were busy moving my remaining stuff from CA to UT. My family and I have frequented many sushi restaurants from inner and outer Bay Area, CA and now Tapa ranks up there with some of our favorites. First off, the waiter was not rushing us even though we got there 45 minutes before closing. All the food came out in good timing and looked properly prepared and presented delicately. The Mango Lemonade is delicious without being overly sweet. My brother saw something he liked from a neighboring table and found out it was Calamari. We ordered it and it was wonderfully different with its breading than usual fried calamari appetizers. Every roll we ordered was great. A tad narrow and cut smaller than other sushi restaurants but I liked it over other places where the sushi pieces are uncomfortable big or require two bits. I ain't got time for that! I look forward to eating here again.

Went to Tapa Sushi after we tried to go to Kitchen 88, which ended up being too crowded. And I’m so glad we did!! My husband has to eat gluten free, and living in Saratoga Springs, it’s hard to find something close that we can both eat and enjoy for date night. He got the wasatch roll and a California roll and they were able to easily accommodate this dietary needs. I got the Tapa steak and it was delicious! It had roasted garlic on top and thick asparagus spears with a yummy sauce on the side. The service was fantastic and the place wasn’t too busy. We’ll definitely be going back and I’m sure it’ll be a date night go-to for us!

I eat here about once a week. It is the best sushi I have consistently had. I’ve had great sushi rolls in many places. Here, everything I’ve had has been amazing! Sushi, entrees it all. The my need diet Dr Pepper, but other than that it all 5 stars!!! My go to rolls are: tequila roll!! Taylor, sunshine, playboy. The baby calamari (they switched to another calamari, I hope they can get back to the baby) is amazing and the best I have ever had. The new calamari is good, but I always ask them to chop it up which makes it easier to eat. But they need to bring back the baby calamari.Soooo good. I’m going again this week for sure. Jordan is a fantastic waiter as well.

After 10pm is discounted on certain rolls and appetizers, but it’s plenty of the good stuff including gyoza, edamame, Vegas roll, and other good rolls. Not sure that I’d pay full price but would definitely come back after 10!Menu picture includes the after 10pm discounts.

This place deserves 0 stars. I placed a to go order and was advised it would be 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes of waiting, I was approached by the hostess. He proceeded to tell me that it would be another 45 minutes to get our food. I was shocked and said that it was not okay to advise customers after waiting for 25 minutes. He continued to raise his voice at me stating, "hey hey hey we are backed up." I had no choice but to cancel the order. His tone of voice, demeanor, and the way he handled the situation Was extremely unprofessional and my husband and I felt so disrespected. My husband, an army vet, including our friends and family, will no longer be supporting this business from the disrespect we encountered.

Very cute little sushi place! We are sushi gurus and I would recommend this place! The sushi is very flavorful and plenty of variety to choose from!

Food is pretty good but you have to wait 20 minutes to an hour to get anything. Waitress seemed annoyed with us from the start and it wasn't a great experience. Maybe we caught her on a bad day or maybe there was short staffing issues but I was not impressed with how long the service took.

My wife had a hard time finding a new sushi place when her local favorite closed down. Tapa has come to be our new go-to sushi place after finding the good quality here.I myself don't care for sushi, but they have many good options for me as well. My favorite is the chicken katsu with a delicious butter mushroom sauce I haven't seen anywhere else.

We like this cozy clean little place a lot. The food is fresh and well prepared and they have some great lunch specials. We lived in the Bay Area for years so feel like we know good sushi. We like this as well as Tsunami, and the prices are more reasonable. Note to owners about things I wish were different (and which would bump my review to 5): 1. The lunch bento box is very good! I'd love to see a half sized roll as an optional addition. Please add a bento box to the dinner menu! 2. Unless you get a table away from the door it's cold when someone opens the door! Is there a way to do a wind break?
