We confused this place for “Beaver Taco”. Super sad. The asada burrito was fine. My wife got the chicken quesadilla, it hardly tasted like anything. Also don’t eat inside. It’s just super busy and gross. Lots of shady vibes and personalities.

I didn't expect to find decent Mexican food in a gas station, but Valerie's delivered. I ordered the chicken chimichanga plate, which comes with rice and beans. Decent food and good portions. I'd get the beef if I ordered it again.If you can't find an open table, navigate to the back of the gas station. They've got an open dining room. I wouldn't make the trip just for Valerie's, but would stop by if I wanted Mexican food on a road trip.

Got the number 5 and they said they use different beef in those besides the beef tacos I ordered which were good. The beef in burrito tasted really gross.

I’m sorry American people that love Mexican food, but this restaurant serves mediocre food for ridiculous prices. That pico de gallo and guacamole are never fresh. The carne asada is over cooked and tasteless or perhaps it’s from the previous days or weeks, who knows. I’m Mexican I should know.

I come today and I buy 2 tacos and a have pickle. The guy you and I condition. I asked the cashier if I get another tacos. And she only came to the back. Take this chance when his kids did. Because they got your and even the same tax. Nasty place to eat I don't recommend this

Amazing Chile Riano‘s! I never thought I would find a truckstop that carried my favorite food! What a lucky find. It’s very hard to find a place to park a semi truck and eat. Excellent quality Mexican! Great job! Definitely going to be stopping back often!

I want to share this with everyone! Today, at Valerie's Taco Shop, I saw with my own eyes how a brunette girl (cashier) in a black T-shirt with the name Los Angeles collected a hamburger with her BARE HANDS, FINGERS and without any sanitary gloves and all food service hygiene standards, wrapped them in paper and wrapped them in transparent film! Then she went to the cash register, served customers and returned back to continue collecting hamburgers in the same style! She touched the cheese, the bread, pulled something like a cutlet off the plate (it looked like it was hot), but there must be some kind of kitchen tongs! And all this WITH BARE HANDS!!! Maybe she went to the toilet! Who knows! But, I was shocked! How so? WHY DOES NO ONE NOTICE OR SAY THIS, AND MANAGEMENT DOESN’T TAKE ANY ACTION??? This is not a personal home where you can do anything, but a public establishment, working with food!!!! Then don’t be surprised that you may experience short diarrhea! People, be careful and take care of your health!! I threw out all the food.......

We were headed to Wendy's, but caught a glimpse of Valerie's inside the truck stop. We ordered carnitas tacos, bean tostada and chicken flautas. Food was simple but delicious! Very generous portions, reasonably priced. You can go to Wendy's any time. This is a hidden gem! Don't miss it!

Everything was good and affordable. Had the rolled tacos and came with beans and rice.they were so good and crispy. Also ordered the grilled chicken burrito and the breakfast burrito, which is a great deal. I was told it was also very good . Best value on a roadside travel break.
