There is nothing in the world that compares to frozen custard!!!!!! Had the Fresh Garden Cheese Burger with fries today, and it was delicious!! Loved the fries sauce!
Childhood unlocked! So many great memories here while growing up in Bountiful. I'm glad to see you guys survived the pandemic and are still going strong!
Ice cream and custard are exceptional. Burgers and other food are subpar. American cheese used for grilled cheese sandwich for example. Very low quality ingredients for the sandwiches. Weird mealy buns on the hamburgers also. Too bad. Custard is worth the trip. Ignore the rest.

Better options that are actually open Sundays (Culver's). They back up the entire street with cars every single night and it causes traffic build up, really frustrating.

This is my absolute favourite Nielsen's! Even though I have been to the one in St. George and Layton, as well as other newer Utah locations, Bountiful remains my fave! I had my first visit here in the late 90s and I have only been disappointed once at this location... got all the way home and they'd forgotten my fry sauce but on my next visit they more than made up for it... I have only encountered hardworking, respectful, and very kind teenage/young adult employees at this location (occasionally I have been helped by older employees with the same kindness and respect). I can't say that about all my visits to the Layton location. Anyways... I love the grilled cheese with grilled onions and their fries the most but I have NEVER been disappointed with any of the food from this location. I have tried nearly every flavour of concrete and, while I have my faves (lemon, pineapple, chocolate, and caramel cashew), they're ALL delicious! You must know it's in an awkward location so getting in the driveway can be difficult at high traffic times. It seems like A Lot of people love eating at Nielsen's... so be safe when trying to pull into the parking lot... there's not a huge parking lot but if you arrive before the crowds you should be just fine. I usually drive through but walk up service is nice too. I haven't eaten inside in quite a while but when I did it was always clean and a pleasant atmosphere. This is seriously one of my favourite places to eat or have frozen custard in Utah. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do! ?Kid-friendliness: very family oriented establishment especially for families with young children.
