Cool little sandwich shop with a nice vibe. We're out of towners so this was our first time visiting. We liked it, liked the staff, and we'll probably be back next time we're in the area.

As far as the soup goes. 5 stars. I got the 12oz chilli. It cost $4.60. The beans were perfectly cooked, plenty of meat, good broth, came out piping hot. If you like hot sauce, there's 20 bottles of all kinds of hot sauce at the condiment station. So if you're the type of person that only likes chilli with a specific sauce, they probably have it. I haven't tried these, but they also serve sandwiches, cookies, side snacks, fountain drinks, and ice cream. This store is run by teenagers, so expect teenage service. If you're getting a sandwich except a long wait time. They seem to work slow and lots of people waiting around. They got my soup right away though.

This place has a great atmosphere. I went there twice last year and both times i had gotten a food item that was rotten once it was the soup and the second time the yellow peppers for the sandwich’

I have always eaten at Spankys since being a little kid. I stopped in with coworkers for lunch, but am expecting and didn’t really want a hot sub they were so nice and heated up the deli meat for me with a smile and made very genuine small time while waiting. Will always love spankys ?
