This place is the real deal. I haven't tasted butter croissants this perfect since being in France 5 years ago. The almond croissant is also exactly what an almond croissant is supposed to be. Many times a bakery will take unsold croissants, split them in half, slather a sicky-sweet almond paste inside and call it good. Not so here. They are fresh and just the right amount of sweet. Wow! Absolutely delicious! We were passing through Cedar City and stopped for brunch and were completely won over by the superb pastry, absolutely decadent ham/cheese quiche and potato gratin and scrambled eggs on croissant - all paired with refreshing, lightly dressed greens. The food was so good, we ordered some croissants to go and were rewarded with a delicate flakey super buttery pastry snack later that afternoon. This place is designed to be a replica of a little café in France. There is always french music and I think that most of the people who work there are foreign students whose first language is French so there is that little touch.We like to go in here for the macarons.Right now, there is construction going on right next door, but there is more parking in the back, but you have to go around to the side of the block.
