Didn't actually eat here, after waiting in the drive through I was told that they were out of shredded cheese for the salad I ordered. Guess going to the grocery store 1 mile and buying some was not an option for them. So I left.

I just picked up a side order of shrimp. Wow! I wouldn't have thought a fast food restaurant could cook shrimp to perfection, but they did!! The shrimp was so tender! I should have got the full order. The Zaxtail sauce was pretty good too.

Food was good! The chicken was rich and zesty, gave my friend a good ol’ case of the farts though. I traveled 8 hrs to get to this zaxbys because it’s the one closest to San Diego and I used to eat it as a kid. The only thing is that they forgot my wings, and I understand that it happens occasionally, but the cook didn’t wanna make them for us at first when we came back because we didn’t have the paper receipt even though I had a copy of the mobile order on my phone. It’s all good tho, thanks for the food.

I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about there fried chicken. And this was the first time I had the chance to taste it. OMG!!!! The chicken sandwich was so juicy and not too salty. I tried it with and with out the dipping sauce. And to tell you the truth it was perfect fine without adding any more sauce. I also got to try the white cheddar cheese curds. Also yummy. But you want to eat them when they are fresh. The restaurant was very clean and the restrooms were also very clean. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just wish you had a location in California.

Very poor quality. Chicken tenders, fries, and toast were served cold. Out of everything, freestyle machine only had 6 options, and no zaxsbys sauce. Ice machine leaking water making floor slippery, bathroom sink not working and also paper towel dispenser broken and other one empty. Would not recommend this location.

This Zaxby’s used to be one of my favorite places in town but the last few times haven’t been great. I just went through the drive through and there were 2 cars in the parking lot (probably employees) and nobody else in the drive through. I paid at the window and then sat there for 20+ minutes. When I got the food it was cold and not great.
We were the only ones eating in the dining area yet our food took forever to make. What was concerning was our food by the time it got out wasn’t even hot nor even warm. I could tell it had been sitting out.

What an experience. Someone was passed out in the bathroom after vomiting chicken in the sink. The cashier was confused why my husband and I were ordering/paying together, and apparently wasn't supposed to even be taking orders. The manager coughed right on the drink cups when called over and wanted to charge us again even though I showed that the payment appeared on my bank app. We finally sat down and found that someone wrote in the layer of grime on the table. which explained why the floor was so sticky. Bits of food were stuck to the floor throughout the dining area, in spite of the Wet Floor signs implying it was cleaned recently.When my #1 was done, the dirty ketchup packet was about the same size as the chicken Fingerz™.KFC is across the street FYI.

The place was clean and the service was nice, but the food is just not worth it. My wings were tough, probably the toughest wings I've ever had. The fried pickles were extremely salty. I couldn't really even taste the pickles, and they were also tough. The food is just really poor quality, especially for how much you pay for it.

I've never eaten at a place abysmal enough for me to leave a review until today. When we walked up to the counter, every sentence from the cashier felt like it was from a parallel universe. "Wanting to put in an order?" is such a strange way to start the sale - a simple "Can I take your order?" or "Is this to stay or to go?" would be much better.After we ordered and paid, the register locked up; it took a cashier, a manager, and a cook to figure out how to get it working. They told us the payment didn't go through, but it was already in our bank statement. If we hadn't caught that, we would have paid twice.Oh, and the manager coughed on the cash register and cups. That was a lovely touch.I didn't notice the filth in the dining area until I sat down. My husband literally drew words in the table grease. Mind you, this was long after the dinner rush; any well-managed restaurant would've had things cleaned by then. But cleanliness appears to be a chronic problem at this Zaxby's. Even the ketchup packets were filthy.The food itself was more or less what you'd expect from a low-grade chicken joint at 8:30 PM. The chicken wings were tough - almost the texture of poorly cooked shrimp, somehow. Nothing had flavor. The toast specifically disappointed me; it had the yellow color you'd expect on a nice buttery toast, but none of that taste came through.I'm also unsure how a Coke Freestyle machine can taste so off. These machines always have a flavor slightly different from what's in stores, but this one just tasted flat.The fries were fine - a bit mashed, lukewarm, and inconsistently seasoned, but by far, they were the star of the show.I've only been to a couple of fast food joints worse than this, but that's because I found literal bugs in my food. My recommendation? Avoid Zaxby's.
