Food was delicious and we had a great server. Perfect and cute spot for brunch. Parking was a bit tough but other than that everything was incredible.

I was disappointed with Root’d Cafe. I thought the food was very average. My wife enjoyed it a lot. The server was friendly.

We love this place! Such a cute, fun spot with patio dining and hip atmosphere. The food is all delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is kept very clean by some of the cutest staff ever! Yes, we will definitely be back again soon. ?? ?

To start we had the Beignets, they were fantastic (the jam with them set them on a different level). The Ruben was very good, everything tasted very fresh. The garlic fries very yummy! The bbq chicken wrap was fresh and not over sauced, definitely filling.Portions were larger than what we are used to so you are getting what you pay for and then some.

Live music is always great. Food is priced high, but is really good. They've improved the patio with better heaters, but it can get cold, even inside the main restaurant.

The impossible patty in their mama bird burger tastes betted than actual meat, just sayin.
I would come here multiple times a week, it was a gem of a place for the neighborhood when it opened. I am not sure if it changed ownership since then or what but it started to go downhill fast. Quality of service and food dropped significantly and recently I went in and they are charging 25% more per item ($4+) while also offering less food per item. ? Less meat on the burger and sandwiches, and smaller fries. They now try and upsell you on everything when you walk in the door. Won't really be coming back, bummer to see it go so sideways.

They just raised their prices by almost $5 a dish…. Insane

Went on a Sunday morning. Waited 15 to be seated. No biggie. The Wasatch fog was a delicious drink. It all went down hill from there. We watched out beignets die in the window for 20 min. I was really looking forward to the eggs Benedict. It was the worst I’ve ever had. The eggs tasted like vinegar and were cooked hard. The hollandaise was sparse and think and flavorless. Everyone else liked their food I was with. Super disappointing.

We're regulars here. We only go at non-peak times (weekdays) and we generally enjoy our food and drinks. My go-to is the quinoa bowl with salmon (they'll make that for you at lunch even though it's not on the menu) and it's always delicious. I used to order fish tacos but they're a bit inconsistent (sometimes great, other times really not great) and now the price increased by 50% on that item, so I'm out. We've always had great service and we love having Root'd in the neighborhood.

Excellent food, coffee and service- not a huge GF selection for us celiacs but enough- quinoa bowl was ?? and the pups were allowed on the patio. Definitely recommend.
