Atmosphere cheap. Wobbly chairs and tables. Plastic throw way plates, folks, knifes and cups. Kind of reminds me of eating in the back room of your workplace break room. The place was clean. When you pay 17.00$ for a burger and 20.00$ for ravioli you kind of expect more. The Burger was quite plan tasting. The ravioli was it, without a vegetable, No bread. No salad. No salt and pepper. Now if we paid 5-7 dollars for these meals I might understand. Wish we had never ate here. Total rip off.

Suzy was extremely sweet and her food could not have been better. Great low key place for some pasta (that’s what we had but it was so good I’m sure anything she makes is wonderful)

So happy I found this place! Susy was so sweet and amazing and the food was even better! The brisket sandwich changed my life!

Amazing food. Closest thing to true authentic Italian food that you can get in the city. You won't get your food very quickly because everything is freshly made but it is definitely worth the wait! Hidden gem in the city.

We went here because of the great reviews but had a little different experience. The four of us ordered cannelloni, Tuscan chicken pasta, a mushroom pizza, and chicken mushroom ravioli with pesto sauce. Everything was served at the same time, and it was all hot except the ravioli, which was barely warm. The cannelloni (two on the plate) were not pasta in any traditional sense, more like a crepe wrapped around the filling. The food was pretty good, not great, and overpriced in our opinions for the size of the portions, which were adequate but not generous, except for the pizza. It was of a good size. We asked for water and received Costco bottled water at $1.75 each. Our server did as well as she could, but she was the only person running the restaurant, including cooking. We left a decent tip because she earned it, but we will not go back.Edited after reading the owner's two responses (the first, apparently written in haste and anger, was appropriately deleted, but I have a screenshot) --In hindsight I raised the food and general ratings to four stars. As you can see in my review, most of my issues were not with food quality. In my many experiences with Italian restaurants through the years, I have never seen cannelloni served in crepes.Local restaurants generally offer the option of free tap water in glasses. It is not mandatory, and if we had read the menu more closely, we would have seen water listed among the drinks, an oversight on our part.Based on what I mentioned in the original review, and especially based on your first response, we are more committed than ever to not returning.

Okay let me start by saying.. she is the sweetest lady ever. Now that that’s out of the way.1. It took an hour to get our food2. Probably our fault, but we ordered a 4 cheese pizza and got ravioli3. The restaurant has absolutely 0 vibes. Tables are wobbly, chairs too. More of lunch vibes than dinner date vibes.4. I’m not anti Costco patties but let’s be ready J Dawgs is marketing up the Costco dogs like crazy. But something about knowing that’s what they used surprised me. It tastes good, but just a Costco burger.5. Lifted up the pizza and every single topping just slid off so not impressed but the sauce is absolutely incredible. The prices are super reasonable. I don’t see myself coming back. The lady is super nice sweet there just werent enough redeeming qualities.

Food tasted home made and authentic (I’ve only spent a couple days in Italy, but it was extrémalo flavorful). Sadly portions were also Italian size, so we left a bit hungry. Susy was all smiles, super friendly. Food was a little slow to come out but she does almost everything alone and is still getting the business up and running.

Our 1st visit, and certainly, not our last. Susy’s mushroom raviolis are so delicious. The noodle is tender, the pesto sauce is fresh, and the chicken mushroom fillings is flavorful, but not overpowering. The meal is well balanced with freshly grated cheese on top. We also loved the brisket ragu with gnocchi. The meat was intensely tender, the ragu had depth of flavor and the gnocchi were light. The avocado salad was awesome. The dressing brought all the fresh ingredients together. Reasonably priced for the very high quality fresh made pasta dishes and salad. We loved our meal and talking with Chef Susy was a delight. We will return so we can eat everything on the menu.

SUSY GIRL!!! This is the best Italian food I have ever had. All homemade in that kitchen? And she’s doing it all by herself?! Crazy good! Highly recommend this place!! Susy’s kitchen is now my go to Italian place!

I wish there were more hidden gems like Susy's here. Susy is not only a wonderful human being but she's also incredibly talented and passionate about everything she cooks. The ambience is simple, no frills... you come here for the food. The pastas, the sauces.. everything is made from scratch and the ingredients are super fresh (and uniquely sourced). She shared with us that she learned to cook living in France and spent many years working in French kitchens. This shaped her philosophy on the type of experience she wants to provide her guests with and her standards are very high. Every bite you take will come from 100% her cooking. We've been able to sample a lot from the menu and everything has been delicious. Our favorites so far have been the cheese pizza (sourdough bread is insane), the brisket ragu gnocchi, and the gouda burger.Very grateful that this place exists. Excited to explore more of the menu on future visits :)

Was genuinely blown away by how good this place was. Susy is so sweet and friendly, you feel right at home when you walk in, and the cooking is just right. I’m not a pasta person at all either if that says something. Got the shrimp scampi and chicken mushroom pesto ravioli, and can’t wait to come back for more. Thank you Susy!!
