Normally I would give this place a great rating except today I paid $12.00 for a Blackberry Bear Claw made of French toast. That's all. A small side of fruit powdered sugar and syrup were all that accompanied my meager breakfast.With the exception of this particular meal I usually enjoy the food, service and ambience.

Black Bear Diner is my favorite restaurant, and I've eaten at a lot of their locations around Utah. But Kaia has to be the best server I've had. She was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend stopping by the Draper location.

I always feel like family when I come into black bear. Our server Oakley was so great. super attentive and sweet. And Black bears pancakes are the yummiest cake like pancakes I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely visit again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I waited for over an hour for only half of our table to get the food we ordered. Everything else was cold when it finally did get delivered and the staff said they're sorry but there's nothing they can do besides say sorry. I drove from St George to meet this family and our dinner was pathetic and honestly embarrassing because I was the host. Literally nothing came out hot after an hour and it was only half of our families orders. I'm not sure what to think because I usually like black bear but I will never ever go there again because of the service I received and the food at draper black bear. One of our patrons was suffering from a stroke and hard to understand and the waitress kept telling her she needed to speak for herself when we were trying to tell her what she was ordering. She literally had a stroke and couldn't speak and was basically being made fun of by your server. It was a horrible experience and it really just sucks that it happened to be a black bear where we spend tons of money but not anymore.sucks

Heard an argument in the kitchen and then the cook became our waiter after our food sat at the window for 30 minutes and our server became the bus boy. Definitely won't be back. At least not to this location.

We were looking for a place to eat breakfast early on Easter morning while on a road trip. We knew the options would be limited; I was so happy when a Black Bear Diner populated in my search. A known winner with the kids that we enjoy eating at also. The food was delicious and our server was wonderful. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and the bear decor is fun.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has lots of options and is a good value. The kids menu has lots of activities to keep them occupied while waiting for their food.
