Bartolo's had their ribbon cutting during the first week of January and they located right next to the movie theatre in a prime location of the shopping center. We arrived about twenty minutes early for our dinner reservations and were seated immediately. The hostesses were extremely kind and our server, Jared, was patient and funny. We had the perfect table right in front of the window with a view of the courtyard with colorful waterfall fountains and lighted trees. The Crispy Octopus was tasty and meaty. The mussels were absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp spaghetti. It was spicy and very good but cooked more than my taste, as I like my noodles cooked al dente. I thoroughly enjoyed my Old Fashion and we are already planning for another visit.

After being sat down for 15 minutes we had to ask for menus, we then had to ask one of the hostess when our server would be over. All of the pasta was over cooked and the seafood lasagna tasted like over priced tuna casserole.

All entrees, noodles were overcooked and soggy. Everything just felt like a puddle. Noticed previous reviews saying similar things.

Food was good, but not great. We had to stare at our food for a while waiting for the server to bring us silverware. That was annoying. Staff was friendly and polite, however. One other complaint: Soft drinks here are in a can, not fountain style. That means the $3 you pay for a Coke gets you exactly one can of Coke.Overall, this is decent Italian food, but the quality and service doesn't quite live up to the price. I'll try again in a few months and see if things improve.

This place has AMAZING breakfast food for adults and kids! The pancake: think deep-dish pizza. Delicious. The steak and eggs, delicious. Biscuits and (chorizo) gravy is incredible. Kids loved the homemade pasta. This place is totally underrated, IMHO!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free options!Kid-friendliness: The kids absolutely loved the deep dish pancake, (with and without chocolate chips).

Great date night out! My husband and I shared the mussels appetizer, lamb Campanelle and the tiramisu trifle dessert. We definitely will be back.

I wanted to love this restaurant. I'd heard it was delicious so I was excited to go. We went with 4 adults and 2 kids. The kids meals were great! I ordered chicken parm with the pasta. My noodles were "gloopy" and the chicken was dry. I took most of it home but never ate it. We ordered a few appetizers and they were mediocre, nothing spectacular. For the price point I expected a different level of food. It was nice experience. The waitress was very nice and the atmosphere was really nice. We dine at many local restaurants and based on price point I definitely expected something more from Bartolo's. Based on the food I wouldn't go again. Unfortunately it didn't leave me with any great food memories.

I appreciate that there is a new Italian restaurant in Farmington; a large hole was left after Sicilia Mia closed. The reason for the rating is the food. Nothing special, under seasoned, and presentation was bad (no greens, looked like slop, rigatoni used for two different dishes for pasta). Just seemed like a glorified kids menu. Either the food has to take a major step up in class, or the prices need to be cut in half for the quality. This place needs to figure out if it’s more for families (lower prices) or more for couples/groups (better food to justify the prices). I am hopeful they can work out the kinks.

First time trying this restaurant and not impressed at all. First of all there is no lunch menu. I found it to be very expensive for a lunch and the food was just so so. Nothing comes with your $25 pasta dish, even the bread is extra. Went with a friend and was told by the waitress in order to split the bill she has to add an automatic 20% gratuity which is what I would do anyway, but making it a penalty just to split the bill. What a bad way to run a business. Lunch cost me $40 and my friends cost her $49.Live and learn. The entire time we were at the restaurant for our lunch not another person came in (people are learning) I'll never go back and will warn my friends. Too bad.

I live in Salt Lake and was looking for a place to eat in Farmington. I had been to Twigs before but wanted to try a new place. Bartolo’s was amazing! A great balance between spicy, savory, and quality food. I had the Pistachio Pesto Campanelle with shrimp. ?

Tried Bartolo's for the first time this week, and it was fantastic. My shrimp spaghetti was so good! The charcuterie appetizer was tasty and enough for the table to share. Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered, and the Creme Brulee for dessert was the perfect ending. I will say this: it's much more expensive than other italian restaurants in the area, so prepare for that. The service was top-notch - our server was so nice and personable that she really made it a great eating experience.
