Talmadge was a phenomenal server - very friendly and attentive. I got the vegetarian ramen with spinach noodles (per his recommendation) and I’m glad I took his suggestion. The noodles were delicious and I would definitely get them again. I was able to sub the tofu for egg, which was much appreciated. The only complaint I have is that my broth was lukewarm, but when I requested it be heated up they ended up remaking it for me, which was totally unnecessary but greatly admired. The prices are fair, the flavors are good, and the portion sizes are large. I would return.

This place is so cute and the food is great. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere, flavors, and smells all took me back to my childhood in Japan. We will definitely be return customers!

A very “just ok” bowl of ramen. The pork chasu had a rubbery deli meat quality to it, really not what I would expect or desire from a good bowl of ramen. The noodles and broth were not as bad, very middle of the road but still perfectly edible.Staff was polite and service was quick.I would just expect a much higher grade bowl of ramen if you are going to hang your hat on that dish, and name the whole restaurant after it.

We’d come back for the Apple Cinnamon Honey Toast alone! Chill, down to earth vibes with a flair of fun and culture. The food was great, we loved the Umami Raman. Our server was friendly and helpful in answering our questions about the culture (Thank you Talmadge!)

Every time I eat here it's delicious! The katsu curry is my favorite, but the umami bomb and shoyu are also great. I've eaten the whole menu now and it's all very good, but I've highlighted some of my favorites belowDietary restrictions: All their noodle options are vegan and they have a gluten free option as well!

This is a good (but not great) ramen house - we enjoyed our lunch here and would be back if convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.I had the Vegetarian Miso Ramen and my daughter had the Umami Bomb Ramen. Mine was a bit bland - there were no striking flavors, and the spice level was a firm 0. The base tested like standard vegetable stock, although they put fresh spinach on top, and the noodles were uniquely made out of spinach. It looked pretty, was fresh, but just lacked the robust ramen flavor I was craving. To note, if you want to spice things up, I recommend asking for the garlic sriracha sauce. The Umami Bomb Ramen had a much nicer flavor, but unlike the vegetarian ramen, this one was quite spicy - so much so, my daughter had a hard time enjoying it. Nowhere in the menu description did it mention it was spicy, nor were we asked our spice preference. Mine just showed up without spice, and hers showed up super spiced. Overall though, the Umami ramen tasted much more traditional and was quite nice.We also got the mango cheesecake with ice cream. Although it had a unique taste, it was just an average store-bought quality cheesecake. However, for only $4, it was a nice, sweet treat to calm the spiced up taste buds. The restaurant atmosphere was casual - with wood tables and squeaky wood chairs. The cute origami strings hung from the ceiling were a nice touch. It was one step up from fast food, and one step down from a nicer sit down restaurant.Again, if you have a hankering for ramen and are near this restaurant, it would be a good place to stop. Just not really a destination.
