Food is very tasty, our favorite Chinese restaurant in Layton. We always order to-go so can't really say anything about the atmosphere, but the employees are always friendly & the service is quick.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the prices have really increased since covid. We always order the same items and what use to be low $30's is now just over $50.

Went here for the first time for lunch today, after a friend recommended. Loved the dinner special. Egg Flower soup and Crab Wonton were tasty. We got Tso’s and orange peel. They use high quality chicken. I like that.

One plate was brought out 2-3min before my wife's plate arrived, so mine was cold and I didn't even wait for my wife's plate. The skiny blond hostess on the other hand is a class act! She amazed me with her professionalism and willingness to take care of any problem, she promptly said they would remake my plate. I told her to just put it in a take-out container, as me and my wife just shared her meal which is totally enough food to leave you full, well she had them remake a new take-out and they stuffed the thing! Morral to my story is the hostess gal was simply amazing, very kind, very professional. With her attitude she needs a new job that will pay her for what she worth! So any readers out there that want a very professional employee I would go place her!!! No real complaints about the food it is always good, was just cold this one time. Again thank you to the skinny blond hostess you where absolutely amazing to deal with.

Ordered take out, spent $60. Please can someone explain to me how lemon chicken can be soggy with no sauce, and no lemon flavor at the same time? The same goes for the sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken meals we ordered. The cream cheese wonton were sweet like sugar (yuck). The only reason we're giving this place 2 stars is the fried rice was really good! I ordered the vegetable fried rice (allergic to pork), the rest of my family got the ham fried rice, we all enjoyed that part of the meal at least. But, the rest was very very disappointing. We'll be ordering from Hello China from now on, plus they're closer to home. We ordered here because they were open on Sunday's.

It was really unpalatable, with a sweet and sour taste. I left before I finished eating.

Sweet and sour chicken dried up, sauce cold. I ordered extra pineapple for 2 orders and was told I “cannot order extra pineapple for two things”, even though I paid extra. Super disappointed today.

Service was bad. Had to order twice , first plate chicken and beef only & one piece shrimp. Second plate no shrimp at all. Called the manager and didn’t want to refund . Knowing I live 20 mins away, Manager said I was lying, so here are the pics.

As someone who borderline was very close to giving up on any hope of there being any more gold chinese food restaurants in Layton that are ethier good one visit and terrible the next this location is very amazing.in costumer service when it came to me calling them about their menu, serving size enough for a family of 5, and quality not being a trash mush of cooked meat with artificial sauce.Their general tsao chicken is absolutely amazing and not too bad on the spice level for a normal or kid person to enjoy with a great kick, fried rice wasn't flavorless but simple enough to enjoy, also arrived with a side of boxed white rice, their lo mein was very tasty, I also ordered a side of gyoza for around 5 or 6 bucks for 8 that come with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce (has a name I just forgot it.)Everything was priced fairly for the ammount (had three plates before I took these images) would recommend.
