Chinese Gourmet express in the Layton mall was pretty good! The service was excellent and the food was just or better than Panda Express!! If you want quick service Chinese food in the mall then this is the place!

The dishes are good, however they only cook one portion of everything so if there is someone ahead of you in line you can basically forget about it because they take everything. This has happened the past 3 times I've gone here, I just want some dang potato chicken but I will find it elsewhere.

There is nothing gourmet about this place. Food is overcooked, gelatinous, and unrecognizable visually or through taste. Crunchy lo mein noodles and burnt chicken. My mouth needs therapy after that flavor abuse.

I went for lunch and ended up with a couple pieces of chicken that were raw still. I’m not the type to rant about problems to the workers so I just threw it away after I realized there was raw chicken in my plate and left feeling nauseous just thinking about it hope I don’t get food poisoning!

First time here and was dissapointed big time the food was not fresh tasted like it had been sitting out for hours, the whole time we were placing our order the person helping us had a huge attitude and was acting like we were bothering them by being there and making them actually work instead of stand around doing nothing. Tried to talk to them about the food quality and was very rudely told to bad just deal with it and when I asked for a manager was told there isn't one here.WILL NOT RETURN

There is a girl who worked here today who was chubby, blonde ponytail with glasses. She is a rude employee and gave me a very small portion. I highly recommend her being fired!! She is a girl who hates life and her job. She sets a bad example for the company

Okay, so I can over look the rude service. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but the pubic hair in my food is just too much!!!! After loosing my lunch until I dry heaved I tried to call and let them know and all I got was a fax machine!!! DON'T EAT HERE!!!

Whenever I go to this restaurant, the chicken is always under cooked. I recently ordered some orange chicken, noodles, and egg rolls. The noodles and egg rolls were awesome, but one piece of chicken was was really grey while the other piece was all pink! I do not recommend.

I looove this place at the mall. I usually get vegetables and chicken only and they hook you up! Lady up front very attentive. Food tastes great! A little saltier than usual(less salt on food) other than that great!!!? ?❤
