The girl said they got a new card reader so it doesn’t work anymore, which I don’t think is true. 100* weather and no umbrellas even. The shaved ice was much more.. gritty? than other locations. It was not the Hokulia we experience at a different location, but I wanted to check out this location since living close. Won’t be returning.

This was the first year that I needed sugar free.I went to the store in Layton on Saturday, July 1 around 6:30 PM… The young man told me they were out of sugar free or they don’t have any. I asked him what flavors do you have? When you normally have sugar-free he named about five or six different flavors but they don’t have any today. I asked him. When do you think you will get some? He hesitated and he said maybe next week?*** Very disappointed… I’m not sure if I believe him… Because, like I said, he rattled off five or six different flavors… And I find it hard to believe that all of them are out.They should always have one or two bottles of syrup that is sugar-free. I am hesitating, whether to drive all the way over to the other location… Since they don’t have a phone number… To see if they have a sugar-free flavor that I can enjoy.

Every year we get shaved ice for the last day of school at hokulia. The last few years we've had to come to the Layton location because thr Riverdale one closes randomly or doesn't open at all. We looked to make sure this one would be open this year. We got here and it's closed. Even though online says it would be open. I wish your actual hours reflected accurately online so we didn't waste time traveling around to come to your location. It's summer and 80°outside. I really don't understand why none of your locations are reliable to be open.

Snow like ice, a multitude of flavors. What sets them apart in my opinion is the texture of the ice, and generous and FLAVORFUL toppings. Too many places either skimp on the flavor, or it's watered down, and the ice is not the texture of snow

Went for the first time this afternoon and had a wonderful experience! I was pleasantly surprised with the serving size and the girls were great! This is likely their first customer service experience an I think it’s a great way to start out. Keep up the good work! I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

I’ve given this one a shot for the 3rd time tonight. Each time we have received horrible customer service from the girls. They had nasty attitudes each time. Eye rolling, the whole 9 yards. They have their friends hanging around to talk. I was hoping the first two experiences were a one off but it’s been made clear that these girls hired clearly don’t care about providing good customer service.
Clean and very friendly. Finely shaved ice. Nice flavors and add pms.

Good shaved ice. But here is my issue!!! You can find another table umbrella. You have three or four tables out in the heat and only one table with an umbrella to provide shade. You can probably find one for free online. RidiculousYou have a lot of families with children that come. Provide shade for them. I will no longer bring little boy here for this fact.

Horrible experience at this location. The girls working forgot about our order and were messing around with their friends and eating their own snowcones inside while we sat outside and waited for ours. After waiting for 10 min I finally went over to ask about our order with the girl working. She gave me the worst attitude and horrible costumer service. She basically said “I don’t have any orders so I don’t know what you want me to do” Never going back and will be letting all family and friends know about this.
