The service was excellent and the food was great. If you're looking for real Mexican food, you have to come here! Their tacos had a good amount of flavor and meat.

Absolutely authentic Mexican food. Moving from Southern California, I was going to miss Mexican food, but this IS the spot for it.Carne Asada taco 4.1/5: SUPER flavorful. The flavor isn't one noted and has a citrusy taste to it. Average small size tacoPicada 3.6/5: I had the the chipotle one. Perfectly spicy. The masa is made in house and it's greatTamale 3.2/5: Had the verde. Average tamal, nothing special Burrito 5:5/ ENORMOUS and covered in sauce. So freaking goodQuesadillas 5/5: Bomb.com with their asada. Size wise it's around 3x a taco bell quesadillas. Comes with 3 different sauces to dip into.Come here for delicious and authentic Mexican food. You will be far from disappointed

This place was soso good! One of the best I've had in Utah. Jarochos is a small joint located in Layton, and upon entering, you are greeted by a sweet lady. We ordered many different items, and the menu offers a lot too. The choriqueso and chips were the perfect appetizer. There was so much queso that I just wished we had a bit more chips. The gordita inflada was something I have not had before, and I really enjoyed it. The tacos were flavorful, and the chicken empanada was tasty and fried perfectly. The only thing I would mention is that the service takes a bit long, but I don't think they have much staff, so plan to wait a bit for your food. However, I will definitely be returning if I'm ever in the area!

The food wasn't very flavorful. The salsas were bland. The gordita shell was undercooked and felt like eating paste.Parking: Limited if it were busy.

I eat allot of Mexican food and love it but this place surpassed me. Very authentic and full of flavor. The chili verde burrito is the best I’ve ever had and the CHILI verde has a good spice to it. Not too hot. Probably a 2 on a scale if 1-5, for spice, Seriously! The plantain and beans were phenomenal. I would recommend this place to any one

This was a sponsored event so the food was laid out for us. I couldn't find the taquito or the pastry item on the menu but they do serve the tamales and tacos on the regular menu. The taco was a carne asada and was the very edge of too spicy for me but very flavorful. The tortilla was well made and the fillings inside perfectly complimented each other. Overall, a very tasty bite! The tamale was a chicken with green tomatillo in it and it was definitely too spicy so I asked for sour cream which helped tone it down to almost tolerable levels. The masa mixture was perfect and really housed the ingredients well. If you are spice averse like me, definitely ask for the ingredients inside or get something to kill the heat a little. The taquito was a perfect, crunchy, creamy treat that I super enjoyed. Everything complimented everything else and is definitely a try again. The final thing was the pastry dessert. It was crunchy with a little cinnamon on top. The only downside was that the pastry outdid the filling.
