This location is horrible. As is the case with almost everywhere and every industry who employs today's youth, it's staffed with children who have zero work ethic and zero concern for their own performance. You place an order online for pickup at 3:15 on a weekday, and they can't handle it. Somehow and unsurprisingly, it's not ready when you go to pick it up. I guess 75 minutes isn't enough time to compile two raw pizzas during the non busy time. No one expects someone to be passionate about working at Papa Murphy's, but I wish today's kids would have a bit of pride in how they handle themselves and how they do their jobs even if it's not their dream career.Then while you're standing there 15 minutes after your order placed online should've been ready and waiting for the employees, two other customers come in and place orders, and receive their orders before you do. Then the employees can't read. Two separate employees who have started on your order at last, both screw up the pizza they're individually working on and you as the customer have to do your own quality control and stop them before they continue ruining it.Companies should value online orders, especially during the non-busy times. It gives your employees more flexibility on when they make the pizza, it alleviates traffic in your lobby, and it makes it easier to predict and organize your incoming orders because of the flexibility I mentioned before. When you're given 75 minutes to make a pizza, you don't have the customer in your face. However, this location doesn't appreciate online orders. They're a nuisance to them and they just ignore them entirely until you come in.

Ordered pizza at 11:34 am for a 2:00 pick up. Arrived at 2:30 and was told that there was no order by that name. Found the email with the confirmation number. Had to wait another 20 mins to get my pizza made. It really should not be this hard. Not happy.

Ordered med pizza online Friday Aug 25. Said it would be ready at 1:31pm which was 30 min from the order time. Got there at 1:38. One customer in store, 2 workers. Our pizza had not even been started. I might understand if it was a popular time like dinner time or Sat or Sun. This was not the first time this has happened. Unacceptable, especially since they don't even have to cook it. Buyer beware!

There were small parts of metal in my pizza. I almost broke my tooth on it. I got a pan pizza. I could not go back to the store because it was closed. I don’t know what I would say anyway without looking crazy. I want to bring awareness to the workers. Do equipment checks regularly. 1330 E Highway 193 Unit D-3 Layton Utah. 04/21/23

Not all Locations have the same crust and marinara. The one on antelope has amazing sauce and crust and this one is two thumbs down sadly.

I ordered a pizza for my parents 44th anniversary. I asked to do a heart shaped pizza. They did it!!! Huge success and just fun. Possibly a marketing idea. Huge thanks!!!

Choose another location. Manager treats their brand new employee Alijah horribly, watches on the camera in the back while their brand new hire struggles to make over 8 pizzas alone with angry customers who have been waiting over 30 minutes for something that normally takes 5 min or less. No apology from this guy, comes out and blames the new hire for poor communication. Doesn’t address the crowd who demanded to see him in the first place. Terrible leadership skills and customer service. Sure, you are understaffed, apologize, address the room and throw in some free cookie dough or don’t sit in the back and watch while on the phone. I will be contacting corporate. The wait time is understandable with an apology. This supervisors terrible attitude is not. Several unhappy customers tonight. They have messed up my pizza the last 3 times. I’m done. I’m going to the one on Antelope.
