I ordered Tri Tip salad in the Layton restaurant. Well the meat was cold and pink, it had a lettuce blend, some avacad and a few cherry tomatoes with a few onions. All for the low low price of 18.99. Ate about 1/2 of the lettuce which was bitter. The bar tender took my Pepsi when it was 1/2 full to refill it so guess and never brought myDrink back. Very disappointed. Won’t be eating there again. My bill was 22.00 for a salad and a Pepsi.

Food was over priced for over cooked food, we ordered chip, salsa, 28 small chips and a cup of salsa, $7.40, when I asked for more chips, i was told its $7.40 again, I declined. I then ordered the New York steak special, Now there were 7 in our group, food was delivered to 6 of us, they ran out of steaks. so i ordered a double cheese burger, it was over cooked. dry, fries were cold, My doughtier ordered the fish and chips, it was so soggy she couldn't eat it. on the positive side, our server must have apologized a dozen times for the bad food, He was outstanding.

Generally the food is good, but current and past experiences have taught me never to order a burger from here. I decided to try again because I am a sucker for burgers and got a dry burger that tasted like fish... not great. Their cooks really need a refresher on how to cook burgers, at least not to cook on the same surface as fish.

Had lunch there today (April 9th). There were only two other tables with people so not busy at all. Service sucked! Ordered fish tacos with a soup. Never got the soup and the waitress had an attitude when I asked about it when our main food came out. She never checked on us and needed refills on our drinks. Probably won’t be going back.

The food was pretty pricey. I had the double bypass burger. It was kind of bland. Not much flavor from the meat. Our waitress was very pleasant and there to make sure our drinks were topped off.

The food was terrible. Stick to bar food which was fine, although the fry on the fish and cheese curds was limp. We had the chicken Milanese and could not eat it. Broccoli tasted frozen and the potatoes tasted instant. Go for the brewery experience not the food.

Stopped in The Coop for a colleague's relocation party. Relaxed atmosphereHad a couple of Bees Knees draft beers and some nacho cheese dip. Both were pretty good.Great place to have a few beers and reminisce.Service was slightly slow, but we weren't in a hurry.
WAY!!Overhyped.Food was average at best. I had the tacos. The Carne asada steak was overcooked, the fish was okay, but soggy, and the chicken just wasn't tasty. The rice was Rice a Roni broccoli and cheddar, and the beans were straight from a can.
For sure one of my favorite restaurants in Davis county. SUCH GOOD FOOD!!! Love their remodel, minus the new chairs. They are insanely uncomfortable. My husband misses the taco salad with salmon that got taken off the menu too. We still love Roosters though!

Had the Cheese Curds and Bakeb Chicken Milano with mashed potatoes and broccoli, every tasted great. The chicken was still juicy. Just wished there was more of the lemon-caper-shallot butter. Food also came quickly after we ordered.
