Sitting in the lobby waiting for our food to come out and overheard staff talking about an order being messed up. Saying they’ll just send the people home with it since it’s a to-go order. Under the premonition that it was about our food because they were just talking about our order. Quite unpleasant to hear them loudly discussing about sending someone home with a messed up order and not caring at all about having quality service. IF the managers actually do something this is being written in store on 2/15 at 6:30pm, and based off other reviews this seems to be a common mishap for people who take out. So please if you’re reading this to any customers check your take out order before leaving.

I am so happy they are under new management. I have missed coming to eat here used to be my favorite place, but was drawn away do to poor service. I got shrimp and coconut rice. Highly recommend you try it. My daughter got the new burger (forgot what it was called) with a sweet potato fries and she absolutely devoured it. We will be back very soon.

Haven’t been to this restaurant in a while due to poor management. But saw a sign saying new management, so decided to give it a shot. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the friendliness was a breath of fresh air. Will be returning.

My husband went to Rumbi Grill to pick up lunch. He ordered some fish tacos and an Aloha Chicken Mango Salad. We got take out so he brought the food home. He ate the fish tacos and said they were not the same as they used to be. The tacos were loaded with the cabbage, salsa mix and had very little fish on them. They used to add a green sauce on top of the tacos, but they did not include it this time.I put my salad in the fridge to eat later. When I opened it, I started to put the dressing on and toss it and I realized there was no chicken on the salad. I have included a photo. I ended up cooking some chicken nuggets to put in it. Very disappointing. We used to go to Rumbi frequently but had not been for a while. Now we are wishing we had not gone there today.

Try the Volcano style sweet potato fries!! We love Rumbi! Get the whole rice bowl with fire grilled chicken, veggies, white rice, and Hawaiian Teriyaki and you've got the jackpot! We had a small issue with our food but they made it right.

Love Rumbi's. Their food is delicious and filling, and what I love is that they do have a gluten free teriyaki sauce, but you will need to ask for

I use to like this food- over a decade ago it was good quality. I’ve always gotten the rumbi rice with either pork, chicken, or long time ago, tofu. The last two times I’ve been here the past two years I’ve regretted, it’ll never be like it once was. The veggies are barely cooked and taste raw, especially the broccoli ? the meat is okay given the sauce, otherwise it’s dry! The rice is also dry without as much sustenance or flavor, again the sauce helps. Ends up being really sugary and unhealthy in the end from all the sauce. Virtually tasteless and like cardboard otherwise. Terrible quality, will never, ever return ?

Good food very fulfilling. Kids loved it but couldn't finish thier little khuna. I did the protein bowl and probably should of went with a half instead of a full. A lot filling than I thought it would be. I would definitely go again and do different sauce each time. Did the jwrk this time, wish it would of been spicier, there was no real bite/jersey to it. It was still good though.

When I sat down to eat my VooDoo Chicken Salad, I noticed that my large, $15 salad didn’t even come to the top of the rim of the shallow take out tin. As I started mixing and eating, I realized that it was probably around 75% tortilla strip toppings and not much of anything else; hardly any lettuce. At that point, I did the tedious task of separating the lettuce from the rest of the overdressed, soupy salad and in total the lettuce content came to less than a cup. Upon pick up, it had the wrong chicken and when I pointed this out all they did was take it off and put the new chicken on top. They didn’t even make a new salad. So the same salad had at one point or another, experienced not one instance of hot chicken topping it, but two, which made the lettuce wilt even more. Horrible experience. People pay good money to eat out. To be served with an afterthought of an expensive SALAD is beyond ridiculous. Side note… I even poured a bunch of tortilla strips off of my “salad.”

What a major disappointment ?.Ordered 3 meals from Rumbi Island Grill:1) steak bowl with "teriyaki noodles" and "Cabo vegetables". This turned out to be a bowl of spaghetti with steamed (apparently not grilled) beef strips and black beans. The beans had flavor, not much else did. 2) Full rice bowl with steamed veggies was almost all white rice and zucchini, some carrots, and virtually no broccoli. 3) 2 Full rice bowls with "fire grilled chicken" and steamed veggies. Chicken seemed to be grilled, but once again a ton of zucchini and not much else in the way of veg.Never again. ?
