We were so excited to try this place, eating leftovers at home would have been a better idea. They brought my husband's food and our sushi. Twenty minutes later we realized my food wasn't coming. I literally had to chase our waitress down and ask her where my rice bowl was. Fifteen minutes later she brought my food then we never saw her again. THEN to get our bill and a to go box, we had to get help from the busser. The server finally showed up with the bill and box and said she was sorry but then rushed off. Not sorry at all. We were the ones who were sorry for giving them a try. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!

Great service. Food tasted good but within and hour of eating our entire group had upset stomach and was running to use the restroom.

You wouldn't think it's that good. But Tony's is the best sushi in such an unsuspecting place. I had heard about this spot before I moved to Layton but never made the trip. Once I ate there I regretted not having gone before. It's worth a drive, even from SLC or Ogden. Super good, fast, and reasonably priced.

Hey, we love this place. But we got turned away a full hour and 15m before closing for AYCE last time as only limited a la carte was available. The menu and website state you need to be there 30m before closing so we thought no problem. The hours are already short by our standards; so this was very disappointing. We had already planned on going several times before to realize it was already approaching the 8h30pm limit so passed on going. So you can imagine our anticipation had been building for weeks. Sushi Burrito filled the gap who is open 'til a true 9pm. Don't go to Tony's after 7h45pm if you expect to be able to get the AYCE. Ymmv. Good luck.

In all my life this is the first time I’ve written a review for a restaurant. Let me tell you that I’d find a better meal at the dumpster behind 7/11. They have the most oddball rolls and with very low quality sushi. The prices they charge are outrageous for how you are treated by the waitress. She walked by us 12 times without saying a word. It was as if we were ghost. The only piece of relief was a young girl cleaning tables that went out of her way to do the waitress job. Which may I add was sitting by the kitchen area talking up a storm instead of doing her job. I wouldn’t wish for anyone to experience this place. Please save yourself the displeasure of going here.

Price and service is solid but be prepared to eat a bunch of rice. The rice to fish ratio needs to be addressed. I’d rather pay more elsewhere for better

Service:Was amazing! Lady working the counter was busy but answered everything with a smile and was on top of our orders. She should be congratulated on a job well done.Miso soup:As good as instant miso can get.Tempura:Desperately needed salt.Crab ragoons:Actually not bad (for what they are).NIGIR~Rice:Bland. Desperately needed to be seasoned (vinegar, sugar). Surprisingly not dry so that’s a plus.Fish:Didn’t taste fresh. Didn’t look fresh. Unimpressed even given the low expectations for all you can eat.ROLLS~Rice:SameFish:Same.Sauce:The sweet sauces were too sweet and the mayo just had a funk to it.Overall just shockingly bland.Cleanliness:The restaurant was dirty and sticky. The menus were sticky, the walls seemed to have a dirty tint. There was this awful smell when walking in like an indoor soccer place.I feel bad giving this rating. There are some “lower tier” sushi places in Utah that actually do a decent job given the price bracket. This one wasn’t one of them. Wasn’t worth the calories.

Food was great. Went with a friend. Had a great time talking and eating. The ISSUE that I had with the overall was that we were not informed of the upcharge for leftovers. You will be charged if there are more than 3 per person and the charge was almost another all you can eat price. Because of this I didn't tip because I budgeted the price overall to be less than what it came out to be by quite a long shot.
