As a Utah native, I appreciate a restaurant founded in the Beehive state. I had the nacho fries and the Angus carne asada tacos. Both were really good and I'd recommend them. You could honestly get the nacho fries as your meal, but they're a great shareable. Misha, our server, took great care of us and was very helpful. I appreciated how personable she was.The reason for three stars overall is honestly the price tag. When I want street tacos, I want 3 for $5. To be fair, Taqueria 27 doesn't pretend to be authentic Mexican food (they say so on their website). This is for high end tacos, fresh ingredients, and fun drinks. It's just not the kind of experience I go for.

If you’re looking for high end gourmet tacos this is your place! They’re too high priced to be regular street tacos. I got the tilapia fish tacos and it was yummy ? Had some tasty avocado type sauce with a big piece of tilapia and lime. The nacho fries were top notch. Everything you’d expect with cheese, greens, pico and I think a tiny of mango! Definitely try if you’re looking for something new. The tacos are a little more expensive than a regular place so be prepared to pay for it if you’re hungry.

Fast service, cool atmosphere, friendly staff and that's not to mention the incredible food! Had the shrimp tacos in a lettuce wrap. So good and clean and I didn't feel sick or heavy after eating it.
