The food is amazing here! The pollo saltado and arroz chaufa de pollo were both sooo delicious. They are huge plates and can be shared.

The food is delicious. The people who run the restaurant are so nice. Just go ready to wait and chat and eat food as it comes out, this is not a restaurant you go to just to grab a quick bite. The food is made on the spot and it’s so good!!

I went to Papi's restaurant out of pure curiosity! I discovered it after leaving the consignment shop indy clover, and i asked my friend if she wanted to check it out sometime. My friend and I brought our guys (and my toddler). We showed up around 11 a.m., a week before christmas 2023. We enjoyed the food tremendously. I think Papi himself welcomed my friend and her guy when they arrived and said goodbye too, which i thought was so kind!Sk if you like plantains they have really tasty ones here. They also had these amazing sweet potato balls stuffed with cheese that my husband friend fell in love with. My friend's man doesn't really venture out much to exotic places, but he said his fried rice was the best fried rice he's EVER had and note: This order was very LaRGe in portion...I ordered the tilapia, which I loved and ordered a side of their sweet fried plantains. I enjoyed it so much!We all agreed that we couldn't wait to go back and explore what else we could try next time!

In my review, I'd like to highlight some areas that could be improved. The service was subpar, the food lacked flavor, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. Providing this feedback in the hope of seeing positive changes for future patrons.

My wife and I were so excited to eat here and finally have some good Ecuadorian food. However, when we finally arrived we had to stand at the door for about ten minutes before we were seated, even though there were only about two other couples in the restaurant. The rest of the service continued to be unwelcoming, cold, and painfully slow. Worst of all was that the dishes came out so far apart that by the time everyone got their food, the first plate of food was cold. The food itself was good. The encebollado tasted good although it wasn’t the same as eating it in Ecuador (which of course is understandable). Overall, if we had been treated with an attentive and kind service, we would have loved it. Instead we left way later than we had planned, with a bitter taste in our mouths for having received such terrible service despite the restaurant being virtually empty.

Had a corporate dinner event here and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere and decor, the service was prompt and friendly and the food was excellent. Very generous portion sizes in the entrees and the ingredients seemed very fresh. Will be back again!

I was really happy with my food (I ordered the yapingacho). Delicious! My husband got the special and we were both pleasantly surprised at just how much food there was. I recommend it!

I was so excited to see an Ecuadorian restaurant pop up!However I just went by today 12/4 at 1:45 where their hours say they’re re open from 11:00 to 2:30. But the doors were locked and there was a waitress at the window but she just walked away.Frustrating to go somewhere during open hours and to not be open.So they are getting a one star until I can actually try it and hopefully they will actually be open when they say they are.

Amazing Ecuadorian and Peruvian dishes. Ask about their lunch specials! Remember to pay with cash, they charge extra for credit cards.Wheelchair accessibility: Has the curb cut right by the front door. No steps.

Planning a trip to Ecuador and wanted to try out some authentic food. I had the fish soup and it really was awesome. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Loved everything but the way too loud Karaoke which made it hard for us to talk over it. For a quiet meal, go any night but Friday and Sat (unless you love Karaoke)!
