Food is pretty good, but beware ordering options. If you order an entree 'platter', your side (rice) will be included in your combo box, rather than as a side, leaving less of the entree. You end up paying more and getting less. Pretty annoyed getting home after tipping 20% for takeout.

As always, my visit was wonderful! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious, and there are a multitude of gluten-free options to choose from! When I had to avoid meat and dairy for a time, I could still plan on a delightful and delicious meal at The Black Pearl!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are well marked!

My favorite place to get Chinese food hands down! I don't live in Logan anymore and I will say this place is the one thing that I was very sad to leave behind. They have the best hot & sour soup I've ever had! And Kung Pao chicken is so good and flavorful!! My husband & I always got our own lunch special and it's a great deal with a very generous serving for the price. Love love this place, wish it closer to me! I have yet to find a place near me that compares.

This place is good! Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I hadn't been in like 10 years because I had food poisoning from Sushi.
Great prices on lunch menu for reasonably good food. So far.. I have had the orange chicken which I loved. The yellow Thai curry was good, but not nearly as good as a couple other places in town, it lacked flavor and not enough spice or sauce. The broccoli beef was good but not my favorite. My coworker had general tsos chicken which honestly looked amazing and I will go back and try for lunch one day. I think the sushi is better than Lee's if that means anything to you.

Food is consistently good at Black Pearl. Service is iffy. They may just have been short-staffed that day, but last time I went, I was seated quickly, then waited 10-15 minutes before they came back to take my order, a standard lunch special, nothing complicated. Over the next half hour, I watched three tables get seated after me, and all of them got their food before me. I ended up having to leave for an appointment before they got around to making my food. Will probably go again, but I hope they improve their service by then.

I don't understand the good reviews of this place. This place food was disgusting. Chicken Teriyaki, Ham Fried rice. Husband had sushi rolls. My ham fried rice was rice soaked in soy sauce, No ham, no scallions, no egg. NO FLAVOR. Chicken same, and was cold.My husband bit into a roll that had old crab, next roll the seawood roll unwrapped intacted and slid down his throat choking him. He had to dig it out with his finger. He left rest of his rolls, we paid and left. Does not deserve 4-5 ratings.
