The service was horrible! Went in asking for a 3 scooped banana split and the cashier told me they couldn’t do that only to be told by another cashier that they could. Felt un-welcomed.

horrible service tonight. normally pretty good. There was only two or three cars in the drive-through, three girls standing there working on orders. My wife and I stood at the counter, making eye contact with all three not a single one acknowledged us m...or said we'll be with you in a minute or anything, so after about two minutes of awkward silence, we turned around and walked out, not a single person was sitting in the dining room. horrible service.

Used to always be my favorite place. Went today and got a peanut butter with Reese’s peanut butter cups. Wha I got was a giant cup of vanilla with trace amounts of Reese’s. Wasn’t even worth eating.

My first experience many years ago the hand scooped ice cream was freezer burnt and gross. A handful of other times with soft serve it’s been okay. I went again in November 2023 and the hand scooped again was freezer burnt and gross. I think they want to keep a rustic look but I honestly think their freezer system is bad. You shouldn’t get freezer burnt ice cream when buying from a supposedly good ice cream specialty store.

Charlie’s has really good ice cream. My favorite is the hot fudge brownie shake and the German chocolate is pretty good too. I recently tried the butterfinger shake and I would say the first half of the shake was 90% vanilla ice cream and that was disappointing. But towards the bottom there was some more butterfinger which was relieving.
