Best restaurant for a great steak. And the brussel sprouts are perfection. I always order two, one to eat there and the other for home. They always have a good selection of wines and the service is usually excellent.
Very disappointed after spending 112$. I ordered the following: NEW ZEALAND ELK*HOUSE SPECIALTY* CHAR-GRILLED NEW ZEALAND ELK TENDERLOIN SERVED WITH CREAMY MUSHROOM DUXELLES, AND GREEN PEPPERCORN DEMI-GLACE for 52$ and the turf of surf for 16$. As you can see the portion is very small . If I knew I was spending 16$ for 4 shrimp I would have gone to the grocery store. I'm still hungry after eating this meal lol. The food tastes great but the portion as you can see in the image is for a toddler. If you want to enjoy the rest of your food and do not care about the portion this is a good place. But if you are like me that wants taste and a good portion for the amount of money you are willing to spend, I would not go here. This was my first time and last time ordering from this restaurant. 3 ⭐ for the taste, 1 ⭐ for the position and 1 ⭐ for the hour plus wait. If you are a eater like me DO NOT ? go here you will spend 100 plus $ to still feel hungry. My wife's Stroganoff was ok and not worth the price.

I went to grab a bite quickly after a long day of work. I came across this place and thought I would grab a small bite. Little to my surprise, it’s a GEM of a spot for meat. Amazing butter with rosemary, honey, roasted red pepper - Caesar salad - pallet cleanser of strawberry lemon sorbet- and a tenderloin perfectly cooked - with shallot and cheesy potatoes. They bring 3 meat sauces to try - OMG. Added a Glass of wine - live music. Wow - what a lovely, unassuming place to have a 5 star meal.

Unfortunately the ribeye steak was chewy and not very tender. In fact it looked like a New York strip steak. My wife's salmon was over cooked and very salty with the olive tapenade as a garnish. I really wanted to enjoy our meal like so many other times we have in the past but we didn't. We both ate less than half our entrees and were even over charged for our drinks. The server forgot to bring my second drink and charged us for it anyway. Sad but true disappointment!
We went to celebrate my husband's birthday with some friends and loved our entire evening! Our server, Laura, was amazing! The food was so good! We also loved the ambience and the pacing of the meal - gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal. We will definitely go back!
Hoof and Vine had always been on our “good list”. Our table was alongside the kitchen and was very tight! More room would have been great! And we are pretty average sized, all be it two men over 6 foot!

Perfect menu for an upscale steakhouse. The steaks were done perfectly and portions on the salads, starters, and sides are exactly what you need to have a bit of everything. Our waiter couldn’t have been better. We’ll definitely be back for everything from a special occasion to a night away from the kids.

The food was pretty good. I'm not going to lie, for the price I expected the steak to be a bit more tender than it was, there was a lot of chewing involved. But it and the rest of the food was great! Side note, I didn't actually know the prices before coming in, there really should be a listing with prices online

This is a great fine diningrestaurant and definitely one of mine and my husband's favorites. It's so nice to be able to take your time and be able to enjoy and experience your meal without feeling rushed. The food is always delicious and there are lots of amazing options. The New Zealand Elk and Ribeye are favorites of mine. The new blondie cookie & ice cream dessert is a new favorite now too. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it!
