Ordered their maki (traditional rolls with only seaweed, raw fish, and vinegar rice. No other seasonings). It's totally amazing. Fish (toro, hamachi) and green onion was fresh. But I'm a disappointed about their nigiri - fish was fresh but definitely too much soy sauce there (see photo). I could see soy sauce absorbed into rice and then the whole nigiri unfortunately tasted like sweet soy sauce and diminished the fresh taste of the fish. I hope there's an option for not adding soy sauce directly onto the nigiri.

We went here after several recommendations and are so glad we did! The food was great, sushi was fresh, service was quick and attentive and the price was great. We went during happy hour on Wednesday evening so we got a few discounts on our sushi. Our favorite was Romeo and Juliet! We even had to order a 2nd one because all 4 of us wanted more. Our food came out super quick which was good because we were hungry! We were really surprised that they prepared our food so quickly!! We will definitely come back or even go to one of their other restaurants in the area!

Itto quickly became our favorite sushi restaurant. The fish tastes very fresh and their novelty rolls are amazing. You can’t pick wrong off the menu. We loved the double spicy tuna and the Alaskan. Great service as well

Sushi rolls were the best I've had in Utah hands down. Went with the sunset which was amazing, crab tasted fresh and the whole roll was just refreshing. The Romeo and Juliet was super exotic and diverse, which I normally wouldn't trust, but it was amazingly sweet and delicious. Service was quick and easy. 4 stars is for the sashimi. I'm a sashimi guy and theirs was trash. Small portions and just didn't taste very fresh.Sorry Itto.

My boyfriend and I have been here many times. I’ve tried the avocado roll, the cucumber roll, and the special Itto roll. I have to ask for gluten free soy sauce but other than that everything here is really delicious. Never disappointed!

Itto Sushi: A Mixed Bag ExperienceLocation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) The restaurant’s location is indeed great. Conveniently situated, it attracts a diverse crowd, especially among the younger generation. Plus, having another location nearby is a bonus.Family-Friendly: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Itto Sushi is an excellent choice for families with kids. The best part? You won’t feel guilty if your little ones get a bit rowdy – the neighboring tables won’t mind.Affordability: ?? (5/5) Thankfully, Itto Sushi won’t break the bank. It’s reasonably priced, making it accessible for most diners.Ambience: ⭐⭐ (2/5) Now, here’s where opinions diverge. Personally, I’m not enamored with the ambience. It lacks that cozy, inviting vibe I seek in a sushi joint.Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) On the bright side, the service is lightning-fast. You won’t be twiddling your chopsticks while waiting for your order. However, there’s room for improvement – a touch more warmth and attentiveness would elevate the experience. In summary, Itto Sushi offers a convenient location, family-friendly atmosphere, and quick service. If you’re craving sushi without the fuss, give it a try! ??

I never have been to the Midvale location, I always go downtown because it's the best! Decided to order door dash today because I was really craving the scallop dream... utterly disappointed with what I received. For almost $50 to not get even close to what I ordered is extremely disappointing. If you don't have the ingredients, tell me! Don't make stuff up!

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are so nice, and the sushi!! I can’t get enough of it. And how do they get sushi to be so good in Utah?? The sashimi is the real test to see how good sushi is and the sashimi is maybe the best I’ve had. I’ve had so much sushi from different places but this is the best. And it’s not even by the coast! Best sushi in Utah you can’t convince me otherwise. Definitely try this place at least once. Love itto sushi!

This place is awesome... Especially during happy hour (Tue/Wed 5-9pm) when you can get 5 good rolls for about $40 in 2024! Sushi is delicious, and they have some cool novelty stuff like the Dracula shown in my pics/video here that smokes with a pleasant cedar-like smell and the Firebird/911 that are served in a bowl with fire to cook in front of your eyes. The Romeo and Juliet roll was the perfect mix of flavors to be a sorta "dessert" roll.Parking: Parking is ok, especially on the weekend when adjacent businesses are closed, but during the week when they're open, the parking lot is mostly full. Lucky, many people are there for short trips, so if there's no spots, one will open soon enough.
