Been a few times and each has unfortunately disappointed. Food is a little bland and subpar. Every great Mexican restaurant starts with the chips and salsa. First, the salsa is blended and lacks flavor. Good salsa is more like pico than tomato paste. The chips are a little dry and too thick. The entrees are lacking in flavor and uniqueness. Would love to see the restaurant start from scratch and rebuild their menu, ingredients, rather than be a run of the mill Mexican spot.
I've been going to LA Frontera's for year's.Love the small combination.There's nothing small about it!A very consistent, savory hot meal that always hits the spot!??
