Average mediterranean restaurant. We ordered mimosas, muhammaras, falafel, and chick wrap with fries.Mimosa was below average, tasteless drink.Muhammaras was the most interesting and delicious which came with pita bread and vegetables.Falafels were good but the sauce wasn't.Chicken wrap was disappointing.Overall 2 stars.

I don't know what happened, but I had heard such great things about this place. I was told this is a very fresh, healthy, and delicious Mediterranean place and so Nik and I came by in Midvale to try Laziz for the first time. We were seated by a man who was our waiter as well.I ordered the bowl with chicken and Nik had ordered the chicken sandwich. I love most mixed bowls and so I was expecting this to be an easy win for the place. When we received our food, it looked pretty good. I took a bite of the rice and it was the driest, bland, hard rice I've ever had. The salad/greens that came with it were not fresh either; the cucumbers, radishes, and little tomatoes were especially old. My grilled chicken & onions were pretty good and the sauces were delicious, but that was about it. Nik's chicken sandwich was apparently dry and they included items into his sandwich that he specifically asked to be taken out, so the service and the food were just not up to par with what I've heard about Laziz. The restaurant was pretty empty when we had come by, so there aren't really any excuses for the food or service. How disappointing...

Pro tip save 10% on online orders.Come and order in person you pay a 10-15% markup from the online ordering from their website and fun fact Grubhub has less fees extra than their take out service.Very open dining space plenty of parking though it’s kind of annoying one way in and out. They cook the food and the service is pleasant and quick. The dishes are very good the chicken is marinated perfectly and the taziki sauce is on point. Can’t go wrong.Lgbtq flags out front as well.Parking: One way traffic flow don’t hit the curbWheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible

The food is great, wait staff is great too! However, over the last 2-3 years their prices have gone up (a little) and their portions have gone down (a lot, like halved), quite a bit more than if driven by inflation alone. The accompanying move from fast casual spot to sit down spot isn't my cup of tea, but the quality of the food is still excellent.

The food is really high quality and tastes delicious. It's a little bit pricey, but if you're willing to splurge, it's great.

Had the Shakshuka and Zaatar Roasted Veggie. Both of these had a great flavor profiles. Shakshuka is tomato based and has a hint of spiciness. The eggs I got was a bit over cooked…menu stated poached.Overall a good lunch spot.

Food was incredible, service was impeccable.Plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and meat options as well. Every bite was full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. We had hannalee as our waitress, and she was beyond friendly. She treated the service as if it were her own restaurant, and made us feel very welcome. It’s not everyday that I’m impressed by a restaurant anymore, but this one really did it for me. Props to the staff, the owner, and all for making a place that finally prioritizes quality.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian, and meat eater friendly.

Everything we tried here was yummy but I am especially impressed with the falafels! Some of the best I’ve had in Utah. Super fresh, flavorful, and the perfect amount of crispiness on the outside without being too dry on the inside. The cauliflower was also delish! Can’t wait to try more dishes!

I love this place!! My new favorite dish is the salad bowl with chicken. Wonderful! And the lemon dressing with it is so light yet full of flavor. Along with the food so fresh and made to order, the service was fantastic!!! This place caters to their customers. It’s nice to have a place to go to in which one pays for great service and food and reasonably priced!!!!
