“R&R BBQ: Nachos So Good, I Almost Divorced My Wife (But Not Really)Let me tell you folks, I've had pulled pork nachos all over this great nation of ours. From dive bars to fancy gastropubs, I've seen it all. But NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, could have prepared me for the revelation that is R&R BBQ's pulled pork nachos.Imagine, if you will, a mountain of crispy tortilla chips, piled high with slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork that tastes like it partied all night in a smokehouse with the juiciest, most flavorful spices known to man. Then, picture this glorious mountain getting absolutely DRENCHED in made from scratch queso cheese, like a billionaire taking a Scrooge McDuck money bath, but better, because queso cheese. Now, before you lose consciousness from pure nacho-phoria, let me tell you about my wife's pineapple pulled pork sandwich. Let's just say, for a fleeting moment, I questioned the sanctity of our marriage. The sweet and tangy pineapple played a symphony with the savory pork, a harmony so beautiful it should be illegal. But here's the thing: despite this near marital meltdown, the folks at R&R BBQ get it. As their wise owner once said, "there's nothin' fast about our food; in fact, it's downright slow." And let me tell you, that slow and steady smoking wins the race every time. You might have to wait a bit for this barbecue bliss, but trust me, it's worth every delicious, slow-cooked second. So, if you're looking for an experience that will have you saying "slowly smoked, quickly devoured" (because let's be real, those nachos ain't lasting long), then R&R BBQ is your holy grail. Just be sure to warn your significant other beforehand, because these flavors might have them questioning their life choices (again, mostly about the nachos).5 stars, would steal another bite of my wife's sandwich next time.“
“R&R is amazing food. From the moment you walk in, the amazing smell of smoking meat hits you and you know it's going to be good. Everything is smoked on-site and the quality is great.Hush puppies are a bit on the dry side, but everything else is great! The brisket, pulled pork, chicken, sausage... Just unreal. The only downside is cost, and the reason for the deduction of 1 star. Like all food related businesses, the costs have skyrocketed (thanks, socialism) and their prices are not as affordable as they once were.I used to eat here frequently, but because of prices it may turn into a once a year kind of thing. The food really is amazing and I understand the reason for the price increase, so you should still try them because it's really very good.“
“R&R has some really solid BBQ. Usually we get the 3 meat plates but this time we ordered carb overload and were not disappointed. The loaded brisket potato was so good and filled with lots of brisket. However I loved my loaded Chicken mac and cheese. The only downsides were the hushpuppies were super dry. Didn't come with any kind of dipping sauce. Thankfully we had some random bbq sauce in the fridge. I wish they gave an option for what bbq we wanted it topped with. We love their spicer sauce and an option to add the smoked turkey.“
