Pt 2. I’m revising this comment because the owner of the shop clearly skimmed what I said and retaliated playing victim. If you read their comment you will see they say “we’ve even seen people read the signs and still park” that’s because the signs you have posted are misleading. The signs say “no overnight parking from 12am - 6am” which is why people think it’s okay to park there. The solution is to post a sign saying “private property, customer parking only” it’s not rocket science but the fine print is such a small detail that it almost feels wrong. Many of the owners of nearby shops say yall own all three buildings and control that parking lot like a monopoly. Wouldn’t be surprised if yall were connected to the towing company (which legacy already does sketchy things to make their money) and run this as a part time gig to make money under the table.Plain and simple it’s messed up and you guys know it’s messed up because this has happened for years. 1 sign is all it would take, but it has to be clear that it’s private property and that only customers during open business hours can park there. Hate private businesses that have no heart. Maybe call legacy and tell them to stop patrolling your lot.Pt 1. Clearly after reading other reviews these guys do nothing to help themselves. They have a jealousy issue or something. These business owners claim to have no part in the towing aspect of things. However, signs posted say no parking overnight but trick you because in the fine print say (current customer parking only) legit we were gone for no more than 15 minutes before our car was gone (mind you we parked at 9:30 and came back at 9:55). I’ve never met a business that is so fast to tow cars. It’s a shame because I like supporting and eating at small local owned businesses, but when negative things happen like this it makes u want to post negative comments. Maybe if you’d allow people to use your parking lot that’s legit dirt on the hours you guys aren’t even open, it would make people more inclined to try your coffee out. Please just change the damn signs that’s all I ask. For pete sakes it’s not just me leaving a review, listen to the people and find a solution please. Every local business around them say kokopelli is the issue.

Absolute trash, met the owners, they’re from California. Food was microwaved and the espresso was burnt and cold!

Coffee for the elitist not for the people. This company has a vendetta and is continually towing people. Just wanted a cup of coffee and ended up paying 380 for towing. Such unreasonable people just out there trying to may a buck without considering the lives of people, btw the owners are form california…. No need to say more

I ordered an iced blueberry mocha. I received a hot blueberry mocha. When I mentioned there had been a mistake, I was told that the drink couldn't be made iced because it would "shock" the espresso... okay? Even if true, why wasn't that mentioned when I ordered the beverage? And why am I able to order an iced mocha at any other coffee shop in the valley? Such a snobby attitude to serve to a customer. Now I am left feeling condescended to, with a drink I don't enjoy. The food however was decent.

Food and drink were fire, the person who helped us was very kind, and the inside was very aesthetic and they had lots nicknacks and things to look at.

Don’t support a business that enables predatory towing. Shame on you.

This place is my new favorite local business I will gladly support.. coffee is amazing, much better than Starbucks & Beans and Brew.. the atmosphere is cute, welcoming and cozy. Now for all these people complaining about being towed, maybe if yall paid better attention to your surroundings you’d see the tow away signs. Park down the block and walk people.. my bet would be these dummy’s that have had their cars towed are across the street at A Bar Named Sue or El Chihuahua.. they should be taking their complaints to that business plaza as they don’t have a parking lot big enough for their customers.. one would think it’s common sense to not park on private property and walk across the street to another establishment.. but yet instead of taking accountability or maybe parking else where they need to blame Kokopellis.. oh and I can assure everyone that tow company’s and a business do not split the profits.. if anything these business owners PAY towing company’s to come regulate their parking lots AFTER HOURS.. same with apartment complexes ? get y’all’s facts straight before trying to slander a locally owned business..

Just discovered this place. The coffee tastes great and it's so homey and cute. It has this cute attic space with couches, games and books. I'm definitely going to be coming here to work

Please do not support this despicable business! Our car was towed after 2 hours and we were charged $380 to get it released. The signs aren't cleary visible (especially during a snowy night). I don't think it's coffee that's keeping this place afloat, it's the shady side business they have with the towing agency. The owner of this lot should be ashamed of themselves.
