Could be more friendly Subway employees.Also, this Subway is inside the gas station at Mona so you can get all the other snacks you want. “I stopped by while moving cross-country on a hot July day in 2022. The ice-blended drink I ordered, the vibe, decor, and friendly employees--who rushed to make my drink because I had left my truck running a few blocks away to keep my cat cool--made me want to stop my travels and stay in that town forever. I never forgot the place, but life happens and so I'm just now getting around to reviewing. If I ever come through Utah again, I will make a point to stop in Nephi and spend some time here and get some more great coffee and service. Thank you!”

“We stopped here for lunch on a drive south on 15. There is a reason this place is the highest rated restaurant in Nephi (it’s actually a food truck). Although you have to drive two miles off the highway, 15 curves around Nephi so you actually keep going down main st and get back on the highway at the next exit! I had the carnitas burrito and my husband had the birria burrito. It took about 6-7 minutes for us to get our orders. The meat was tender and flavorful in both, and the hot sauces that came with were amazing especially the red one (see the picture). It tasted of smoky ancho chilies which wasn’t overwhelmed by the spice. This food truck is in the parking lot of the Family Dollar so I don’t know how you rate ambiance of a parking lot but it was convenient that we could go in and buy water and sunblock while we waited for our food. “There is food that is prepared as a business, and there is food prepared out of love. RJ BBQ love preparing the very best of food, and making people very happy. Ryan had another career that he left to pursue his passion for great food and happy people, and he's a master at both! I have noticed the long lines at his food truck, and recently was introduced to his catering. It was FANTASTIC! Brisket was fall apart tender, with a tasty smoke ring and excellent spices. Moist, flavorful, lean, and tender, it hits all the marks! BBQ chicken was similarly tender, moist, flavorful, and lean. His homemade sauce was delicious. Side salads, rolls, coleslaw, and potato salad were incredible. And then, peach cobbler that is a hot, tasty, and perfected ending. Every single step was amazing and the work of a true master of the craft.”

“New paint makes place look much better. Seating near windows is gonna be hot in the summer. Maybe they will get blinds before it gets too hot. Carne Asada tacos were flavorful but a little dry. Salsa verde and hot sauce helped. Tacos served with a grilled jalepeño. Chile relleño was unusual. Rice and beans unimpressive.”

“Second time stopping here. This trip was every bit as good as the first so it proved this is always good.Brother had French toast combo with sausage patties. Exceptional presentation and taste.I had two porkchop, eggs, hashbrowns and biscuit. All were perfectly cooked. Biscuit was softball size and a meal by itself with the gravy.Will be back in September again on the way south.The young waitresses we had each time were such a wonderful way to start the day.More stars if possible.”

“I'm staring this compared to other Wendy's and fast food restaurants.They were working hard to get food out. It was busy and I had to wait eight minutes for an order for three people, but they were very nice, the order was correct, the food was hot and fresh and the restaurant was clean. “The breakfast sandwich was good. It was hot and had a good flavor. I gave the food a 3 star for the following reason. I ordered some French toast sticks, and I think the oil was either rancid or they hadn't changed it. It had a significant taste of fish. There is nothing better than French toast that tastes like fish. Yuck1Needles to say, I quickly spit it out, and since I was on my way to Cedar City, Utah, I took the loss.”
