I go to Casa Linda as a customer with my family. But I went there as a DoorDash, the man told me that he would not hand me the food until I sit down. I told him that I didn’t want to sit, and that the food was right there just hand it to me, please. He would not even bag up the food until I sat down. I have never been treated so poorly. I will never go there again as a customer or as a Dasher.

I'm sure the people that work here are great. But, they need to learn how to make food. I don't understand why Salt Lake residents like places like this and Italian Village. I try to avoid leaving negative reviews, but my friend and I paid our bill and left out plates mostly uneaten. When I think of Mexican food, I think SPICE and SALT and FLAVOR. The shredded beef was tough and bland. Season your food! Seasoning is what will make you stick out, and they left it at the market. Cheese enchilada... basically a giant clump of cheap cheese in a stale tortilla topped with more bad cheese. Use finesse! Again, salt. There was a slight sprinkling of enchilada sauce, which is supposed to make that dish sing. It literally tasted like a can. And I understand kitchens will use canned food, but cook out the tin taste at least! I wish the best of luck to this restaurant, but I'd rather eat at the food court at the mall across the street. This place is a major "No Way Jose" for me. No one should dine at a place where you have to beg for water. And we needed it to wash this mush down.

Food was great, except for the fact that there was a piece of black wood in my food that I bit into. Server apologized and gave us free stuff which was nice; but I feel like they coulda come back and told me what it was from or had someone come over and offer an explanation or something but it just got brushed off immediately.I’m not too worried about it; but it definitely raises the question of where the wood even came from which seems like a sanitary issue.Staff were relatively friendly; except they just kinda hover and watch you. One girl in particular was just watching me and wouldn’t break eye contact when I looked over at her, which made me uncomfortable.The guy that greeted us when we got there and the woman that said bye before we left were both very friendly. It’s a shame, I like this place but I probably won’t be coming back.
