The place was clean and service was at an appropriate pace. The food was...just OK, especially compared to other stellar sushi spots like Itto Sushi or Takashi that are in the area. First, the good: the fish seemed fresh and portion sizes were generous. The so-so: the Korean short rib tasted more like teriyaki than galbi. The bad: the miso soup was so rushed that the seaweed was still hard. The mysterious: the sushi chef was using greens and sprouts straight from the package...so hopefully they were washed and placed back in the packaging? In summary, didn't hate it, didn't love it.

A beautiful place with friendly staff and good sushi. I had the salmon belly, unagi, orchid roll, and Murray roll. The Murray roll was so delicious. The orchid wasn't really for me. Not bad, just not my preferred flavors of sushi, but I wanted to try something different. They have a good selection for those who don't enjoy sushi as well.

Best I’ve had in Utah. Closest thing to sushi on Huntington Beach .It tastes fresh. It tastes good. This is a hidden gem.

The owner was on her personal phone the entire time she was interacting with customers. The waitress was obviously the only one working with no help from her manager (on the phone) but she checked in on other customers regularly besides me and my girlfriend. We got our food and when we finished it took 25 minutes before we were able to get someone to even look our way and it was from me standing. I asked for a box which no one ever brought. They seemed very interested in other people business but not ours, the two girls that were younger and an obvious couple. I felt uncomfortable and judged. Do not recommend.

Low quality cheap fish in a fancy location. Tons of imitation crab and fried items. Soy sauce tasted like plastic, which is incredibly disappointing considering the restaurant is named Soy’s.
