We have been coming to Javier’s for many years. The quality is always the same. We visited the one on seventh street and the food was not up to Javier’s standards. The taco was limp and wavy, I sent it back. The new one was not much better. We usually go to the one on Wall at the diagonal. We will not be frequenting the one o seventh street again, the food was inferior. The chili verde burrito was not the same either. My husband has been ordering the same thing for 20 years.

Really good food, horribly small portion size for the cost. I got one fork full of refried beans in my order. $14.98 with flour tortillas?

My first experience was so incredible I had to come back for dinner and lunch. Truly authentic, savory and flat out delicious.

This place used to be GREAT. 20 years ago it was the best-kept secret in town. I visited a couple years ago and had a very poor experience. I was hoping it was just a bad day. Today I went again and sadly, same poor experience. I was severely disappointed. Small portions, but that turned out to be a good thing because the food was borderline inedible. Cheap ingredients, bad flavor. I opened up my cheese enchilada and found cheap store-bought shredded white and yellow cheese that was hardly melted at all. Sad to see a once-great place that has gone so far downhill. The only reason I'm giving two stars rather than one is because the staff was friendly, and for old time's sake.

Pretty disappointed, this place got great reviews so we went. The chips were had and stale, the salsa was weak as well. I had the Chile verde. It was tasteless and had five small pieces of pork, yup I counted them. it was kinda pricey and my wife had three carne asada tacos which were small and tasteless as well and it was about 35 bucks. Being from Los Angeles I guess I'm used to tasty , spicy Mexican food, this ain't it. I ty and not post negative reviews but man this was it for us.
