We always love eating here! It's a good value for the price, and the food quality is consistently good! I took my parents for my mom's birthday, and they were thoroughly impressed!

This place was fantastic! Great service, and delicious food. I highly recommend the thinly sliced brisket, it's like beef 'bacon.' Can wait to take all the family here!

Excellent service, the waiter started making jokes about how much we were ordering calamari. The marinated beef is the best thing on the menu. All the appetizers are incredible. Next time I’m not going to waist time on the shrimp though. Came here in a date with the wife and we loved talking while cooking our food on the grill at our table. Great experience!

This place is so good. Vey high quality. All the fried items come to your table crispy and fresh and delicious. Lots of variety. My favorite is the beef brisket and marinated beef tenderloin. I love this place.

Came on a date with my husband and we both loved it. The beef and veggies are my favorite. Definitely high quality food. Great place in Orem to eat.

Great place for Korean BBQ! They have A ton of options to choose from and the price is great for what you get. I loved the potstickers and the tongue beef (if you're into that type of stuff) ha. The staff was amazing at explaining everything and made sure everything came out as quickly as possible. They have all types of drinks, including some alcohol beverages. They do lunch at a lower price Monday-Saturday until 3pm and they are open Sundays for dinner all day. However if you go during lunch time and want dinner items you can still get them, you will just be charged the dinner price. It was such a fun experience and the food was delicious so you know we will definitely be going back!

Great place. I feel like it's not too well know yet but it's great. They are super affordable too compared to the other Korean BBQ in the area.

Our Sunday lunch today was excellent. Our waiter was extremely prompt at keeping glasses filled and helping us cook since it was our first time. There was a wide variety of food and almost all of it was extremely delicious. We plan on coming back again.

Honestly, the food was gross. It has been 7 hours since I ate at Ombu and I still feel disgusting. For reference I can eat Taco Bell and feel 100% afterwards. Will not be going again.

Ombu was pretty disappointing. We showed up right at noon on a Sunday, so the restaurant was essentially empty. We hoped for great service and fresh meat because of that. The server didn’t really talk to us much. We asked questions and he responded in one word answers. This isn’t the biggest deal for me, but it would have been nice if he had explained more about why they weren’t serving any fruits and why the salad bar was closed. The menu was really straightforward and easy to understand though, so that slightly made up for the server’s lack of communication. We ordered 6 or 7 entrees on the menu to split between 4 people to start off, which was most of the meats on the menu. The meats came out quickly, but they looked like they were taken directly from the freezer. They were completely frozen. We cooked the meats on the grill and the process was pretty smooth, like most Korean BBQ’s. However, it was obvious the meats had been frozen for a long period of time by the taste. They were chewy, lack luster in flavor, and super gritty. They also had an “old-meat” taste. We tried chickens, pork, and a ton of different types of beef, hoping for a different result, but it all tasted the same — disappointing. It was also frustrating that there was no variation in flavors because the fruits, vegetables, and salads were unavailable for some reason. We saw the server maybe 3 times during the whole meal and it was just to fill waters. We also asked him to bring us a small portion of meat for a couple of the entrees and he brought full plates. We don’t like wasting food and didn’t want to get charged for excess meats, so that was frustrating as well.Overall, I expected much better. For $20 a meal, I expected fresh meats, not fast food quality. If you are in Orem looking for great Korean BBQ, go to YUMMY’S BBQ which I have always had a great experience with.

Great food and a variety of options! A bit expensive, but then again it is a different experience and you can eat as much as you want. The good thing is that we were able to share with the rest of our group, so plan on what you want. Friendly staff.

Food was pretty good. No kimchi or other veggies or spiciness to anything though. The beef tenderloin and pork belly were their best items.
