It’s hard to find good Korean BBQ in Utah (we’re from Maryland), so this place is a gem!! The quality of beef especially was excellent, the marinades and sauces were so delicious, and we loved the kimchi and tteokbokki as well! Sushi was fine, but the meats were really where we totally got our moneys worth!! Service was excellent and now I don’t want to go anywhere else because I know we found a good thing!

We have been going here for years! maybe longer. This has always been our go to for Korean BBQ! We stumbled across this gem because their son would post on a Facebook page named foodie about his family’s restaurant called Yummys Korean BBQ.Our server today, fell short. He was also new but even at the end when we were ordering dessert, I asked for strawberry BINGSOO he brang us 3 hot soups? then kinda made us feel like we made a mistake because the owner came out and asked us if we wanted the soup and we said we never ordered it and she fixed the issue right away which was great! I guess he heard hot soup instead of bingsoo! Idk! But that was only one of the frustrations. We have been supporting this small family business for a LONG time. We paid almost $200 dollars today that’s for 2 adults, 1 senior and a 10 year old eating dinner A plus the tip. Due to past experiences we had an innocent mix up over leftovers prices the DO and DONTS etc. I caution everyone especially POLYNESIANS cause we love to sit and EAT to read the bottom of the menu there is rules! I wasn’t use to the rules because in the past they would let us take leftovers home for a price. I guess they were not ever suppose to.Again, We still were ok with paying whatever we needed to though. And we did just that.We just left feeling like thieves and liars even though it definitely wasn’t our intention. Not to mention embarrassed. Not a good feeling.

The food was great and the atmosphere was good, but today (Tuesday, April 9, 2024) server lacked and it ended on a bad note. When checking out we asked about the to-go policy to understand for future reference, but ended with the server calling down the owner. The owners daughter followed to help but they both ended up misunderstanding us and on defense. This could’ve been avoided if the waiter had just simply explain to us the to-go policy, we found out they’re not as complicated as the server made it seem. The server made it seem like we would be charged 10$ per person for just a to-go plate of 2 half eaten sushi rolls. In the end it left us feeling awful due to the misunderstanding of the owner and owners daughter in the situation that the server created. We felt seen as if we were trying to steal/negotiate, when we just wanted to understand the policy.

One of the best tasting Korean BBQ food I’ve had and not just in Utah! Family took me to this restaurant because I love Korean food and was told the owner is from Hawaii. It sure met my expectations and the owner was very nice.

The best, most authentic Korean food I’ve ever had! Truly so amazing! The waitress was extremely polite and knowledgeable, the food came quickly, and their recommendations were perfect! I will recommend to anyone and will probably come back to Utah just to eat their food! Honestly, the food was so good, I couldn’t even get a picture, just the empty dishes
Horrible meal overall, meat is low quality, terrible service and the owner was the worst part of my dining experience. Stay away!!

It was a phenomenal experience, our server Ruri was quick, kind, attentive and all around on point. She’s the standard for what you’d want your server to be. Thank you Ruri for your support throughout or dining experience!! ?

Best Korean bbq place around the area. Highly recommend the tofu soup. It sounds underwhelming but has so much flavor to it!
