If you ever get a chance, try the monkey bread! It’s not always available due to them rotating baked goods. But it is SO GOOD!

Great little coffee, tea, snack and chocolate shop inside the Montage next to the elevator and restrooms off the Apex restaurant and bar. Close to the ski in and out area. Nice selection of everything. Taking off a star because the employee who made my golden latte didn't seem to know how to make it and it took a while because the other lady had to tell her how to make it. More painful to wait every additional minute in ski boots .

French bakery style hidden as a jewel within the Montage Deer Valley resort. This is a great stop for quick gourmet coffee-to-go and freshly made croissants that are as close as it comes to a French bakery in Paris. Their chocolate pralines are also freshly made and truly heavenly delicious. The service is super friendly and as always at Montage very dedicated.

DO NOT BUY THE TRUFFLES. Everything else was delicious but NONE of us could finish even one of the truffles...they were beautiful but tasted like rancid milk. So disappointed.

This was our first time visiting the Montage in Park City and it did not disappoint. It was so good we extended twice! Our suite was very comfortable and well appointed. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever used on top of world class views. The spa and indoor pool were exceptional. The food was great. The classic burger is one of the best I’ve had - I rarely eat burgers and I had one everyday it was that good. The views and common areas are all what you would except from a five star hotel but what really makes this place is the STAFF. We felt so welcomed by the friendly staff. Our kids were treated likes princes and they couldn’t have a better time from the pool to the arcade to hiking around the grounds. A huge shout out to Chloe & Shawna who made us feel incredibly welcomed before we even arrived and were attentive to our every need. The Montage is lucky to have them. Brett for handling a matter in perfect fashion. Ryan at the front desk for making us feel welcome upon check in and Tyler who was the ultimate concierge. Mark and Justin at Burgers & Bourbon and Sheila at the pool who were great servers with a friendly smile and great service and lastly all the valet staff who helped with shuttles, cars and always greeted us coming and going with a smile. We wanted a first class vacation where we could kick back, relax, go on little adventures and have every need taken care of and the Montage delivered. We are already looking at dates for our next trip. Thank you for making it a family vacation to remember!

So many amazing things about this 5star resort! It was our 5th visit, first in summer time! The weather was amazing, which gave us some spectacular pictures, hikes, breakfast, lunch and dinners on the patio, and days by the pool! The staff at every level go above and beyond! One of my favorite trips yet! Can’t wait to visit again!

We stayed here for a friends wedding and were overjoyed by beauty, warmth, and hospitality of the Montage. All in all an amazing experience. Would love to visit again in the fall or winter. I enjoyed chatting with the non-US resort personnel who where working on there on a summer program.

Have been coming here every winter for many years with the kids. It’s over-the-top nice. In fact, the only negative is that my kids might have gotten too spoiled with “everything is so easy” skiing — they put your boots on for you while bringing you hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies. It’s an incredibly nice hotel with multiple restaurants, a game room that my kids love, great for skiing, and very very friendly and attendant staff. I personally like the skiing better at a lot of other resorts (e.g., Vail, Jackson, Whistler, etc) vs Deer Valley but this is by far the best, most accommodating, and most luxurious ski hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Montage Deer Valley will not disappoint. The resort is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are great, the views are amazing. The level of service is well worth it. I would strongly recommend the Montage to anyone looking to stay in the Park City area.

This hotel is in a gorgeous setting and the staff is outstanding. The room is among the best I have ever seen. It is all simply breathtaking. There is nothing about the hotel that is not top notch. But even for all that, it is incredibly expensive and remote enough that you are kind of trapped. Still and all, if you can afford it, this is a wonderful place to stay.

I love Montage properties and this one does not disappoint. It it beautiful inside and out. The views of Deer Valley are stunning and the ski-in-ski-out is hard to beat. The staff goes above and beyond at every position. The food is excellent as well. If you enjoy getting away, this is the place.

If you like staying in a ghost town, this place is for you. The place is huge, horribly decorated, and not worth the money. AT ALL. They don’t EVER give out maps, they don’t ever let you park your own car, and they don’t ever let you use the spa pool unless you book at least a 60 minute treatment. The “family” restaurant “Daly’s” is only open on weekends for dinner. The bowling alley is small (and in a small, confined space) and the arcade charges $0.25 per game. All the other 5 star resorts I stay at don’t require money. The place is seriously a ghost town. The restaurants are empty, the pool is empty, and the grounds are empty. Personally I like things quiet so that part was ok for me. But most people want a place to seem somewhat alive. This place is depressing in every sense of the word. The staff doesn’t care about the place. They just want to give you the same LAME greeting of “Good Afternoon” every single time you meet them. They’re like robots. Finally I asked why they all say the same pre-programmed response when they see a guest. Apparently they have a 4 s’s policy where they “Stop. Stand. Smile. Give a Salutation.” I don’t know about you, but I want authentic interaction with people. They are told to only say “Good Morning/afternoon/evening” and then ask you if you need anything. They don’t actually want to help you. Most of staff come from a program called Work and Travel where they stay for 3 months and then go back home to wherever they came from. They’re good people but the hotel doesn’t pay them well so it’s sad that they’re forced to work all day, every day for us. They should be paid more than what they are because the hotel room prices are outrageous and don’t reflect the quality of the room. The staff deserves to be treated better if the the Hotel wants to keep them. Most people quit after a month or two. On another note, DON’T buy a residence here. The staff changes so much you’ll never get the luxury level of attention you’re used to. The Winter snow isn’t that good anymore (so the skiing isn’t great) and the summer season the hotel is so empty it’s depressing. Why throw money at a depressing, hideous “monstrosity.” That’s what the locals call the place. Do yourself a favor, and stay at the other genuinely fabulous place in Park City that uses a funicular. You’ll be SO GLAD YOU DID. To summarize: the place is WAY (BEYOND) overpriced. It’s a similar hotel to a 3 star chain in appearance and service. The restaurants are lame and not worth an ounce of your time. No one will greet you in a non robotic, authentic way. No one. The hotel IS VERY FAR from the Salt Lake Airport. I think it’s the furthest away as far as the Park City resorts go. Lastly, this place DOES NOT represent 5 star hotel hospitality. If anything, it’s along the same lines as any 3 star chain and the price SHOULD reflect that.

Fantastic location. Great views. Property needs a general facelift. Spa area is fantastic. Restaurant service left something to be updated. Lots of restaurant management, but wait staff and bus staff need serious training. Valet was great. Front desk was okay. Concierge was deficient.
