Food is very mediocre not authentic Mexican at all. Margarita is very plain no alcohol at all just a cheap lime juice concentrate from the bottle . Service is bad too . The waiter made a mistake and charged us for it . The chips and salsa are complementary but if you ask for more they charge you $4 without telling you. They should let people know since all the other Mexican restaurants don’t charge for it. Then they also charge 3% if you use a credit card (they want your cash) and finally they claimed that Park City sales tax is 10.5% when it’s 9.05% . This place is the biggest rip off ! Not worth it ! Won’t come back again !

Margarita was fine, chips and guacamole were decent, queso was even good, but the burrito was unacceptable. Excess raw tortilla, the steak was deader than dirt, and none of the typical ingredients that you take for granted in a well rounded burrito (rice, beans, salsa, sour cream etc) were present. Extremely dry and salty, not up to par with the prices at all. And our reservation had to be split up into awkward groups across the restaurant.

Zero notes for Don Gallo! I was impressed that they let a party of 9 make a reservation for a Friday night. They sat most of our party early and served up tostadas with a bean dip and salsa. The tostada itself was delicious! We ordered queso, elote, and guacamole for the table and it was all fresh and flavorful. I’ll take this moment to remark on the seamless service among our servers and wait staff. Our server, Melania C. was fantastic! She got our drinks in and out to us quickly, and helped our friend navigate the wifi situation so that he could find his tickets for the show at The Egyptian later that evening. Our group ordered so many things: cauliflower tacos (excellent), stew (five stars), fish tacos (a little on the dry side), ceviche (not a bite left over), and burritos. I ordered the Mexicano burrito with steak smothered in queso and I haven’t stopped thinking about it all weekend. I wish I was eating one right now in bed as I type this out. We also ordered a veggie version of the burrito smothered in mole and wow…it was a total knockout of flavor! All in all, it was a perfect dinner with zero drama, an excellent performance by the service staff, and a memorable meal provided by the kitchen. Well done, Don Gallo!

never go here, i asked for cheese on my chicken and rice and they gave me shredded rubbery cold cheese and some beans on side. wish i could give it a zero stars. the waiter was nice tho. but i got zero refills and i could barley get my dry chicken down my throat.

Food and service were alright but nothing special. The food across the board was fairly bland, except the guacamole. For the price and location on Main Street, I expected more. Don Gallo also double charged me for a meal and, after multiple calls to the restaurant, hasn’t done nothing to resolve the situation.
