Saddens me to leave this here but when you’re served a fish that literally reeks of rot there’s no excuse. As a local I frequent this place, or I should now say, use to frequent this place but the fact that an entire kitchen staff allowed a rotten fish to make it on to a plate and then the waitress brought it to me is absolutely inexcusable. In a situation like this I would’ve expected nothing short of “what can we do to make this right and ensure you don’t let this stop you from dining here again” but this is where management failed miserably. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life and I have literally worked as a commercial fisherman and seen some of the foulest things an ocean has to offer.

********Menu was not very big and food is okay but for the price you pay for it the value is a little off. I think $10 for fries and $30 for a salad is a bit high for what you get. But hey you do get to use a cloth napkin while paying this price point. ?

As a gluten-free diner I was not impressed. Thought the food was okay, overpriced, and gluten-free labels were not completely accurate. My husband and I ate at Hearth and Hill on Monday 4/1 because of the impressive ratings on the app "Find Me Gluten Free." .We ordered the Elote Queso Dip as one of our appetizers. We confirmed with our server that all the items I ordered were gluten-free. When another server brought out our appetizers, I asked her to confirm for me that the chips were made in the gluten-free fryer.I was shocked when she came back and told me they were not. I'm so glad I waited to start eating til she came back. This could have ruined our entire vacation because we ate here on our first day in Park City. Even though it may not seem significant, but that small bit of cross-contamination can make me sick for 2 days. The manager was sympathetic and came over as well to apologize and offer a side of the beer-battered cauliflower to see if it would go with the dip. It didn't at all, but I did at least appreciate the offer. But unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the dip because it didn't work with the cauliflower and we accidentally dropped part of a chip in the dip so I could no longer eat it. I was hoping the staff would see that we barely touched it and take it off the bill, but they didn't and I was in no mood to give anyone a hard time about it by the end of the night.Truffle Mac Gluten-Free was undercooked and crunchy in some bites. Re-fuel salad had way too much going on (beets, apples, sweet potato, and rice). To me, this restaurant was not worth the $20 Uber from downtown Park City.

The food was very well plated and it was tasty but for some reason the flavor didn’t meet the expectation that the plate creates when it is presented. Hope that makes sense. I was surprised to see a French Syrah for the north of the Rhône in the wine selection (thanks for that) it is Worth the visit. They were kind enough to take us in-between reservations so we had an hour for our visit. The happiness barometer reached to mild but it was a nice experience. Thanks so much

This is a favorite with the locals in Park City. While it can be busy during the tourist season, it's often easier to get a seat here than the downtown eateries. The food is excellent and the craft cocktails amazing. The shrimp shumai is one of our favorites and is back on the menu. If you sit at the bar, it is a good place to enjoy sports.Vegetarian options: The staff is very accommodating to food preferences and there are several very good vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Servers accommodate all dietary restrictions.Parking: Street parking can be hard to find but the parking deck has pedestrian access that leads to the restaurant.

I thought about this overnight because I wanted to give a fair and good review.Let's start with the seating/reservations and atmosphere: We made a reservation a few hours before and got in at prime time! So all good there. The seating... plenty.Service: Our server (Josh) was amazing and I really mean it. The people at the front desk, the people who brought our food, they were all great.Lastly, the food:We all had drinks; they were phenomenal.Now.. this is where it's a 4 star and not a 5.The scallion pork gyozas: my family loves these so we get the them every time we come here. Today though, there were rock hard bits of meat, and it was disgusting.Main courses... We got the curry; that was great. We also got the tacos.. incredible. Lastly the BBQ ribs.. those were good, not anything stands out about them, but not really anything wrong with them.We didn't have dessert; but the dessert menu did look great.Like I said, it was the pork gyozas that made it a 4 because it really did ruin some of the experience at Hearth and Hill. But overall, this is a good place. I honestly don't think there's anything special about this place; not really any kick of wow. But there's nothing wrong with it.

Good spot for a big group. Something for everyone on the menu and accommodating to allergies. Food is also more reasonably prices compared to most places in Park City. I recommend getting the cauliflower appetizer.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Hearth and Hill, and it was a fantastic experience! The freshness of the ingredients truly shone through, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. It elevated even something as classic as cheddar biscuits – they were absolutely amazing! We also tried the Refuel Salad, the H & H Burger with fries, and finished with a showstopper: the Horchata Sundae. Everything was bursting with flavor and had a unique flair that set it apart. The service was excellent as well, attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There were a lotKid-friendliness: They had a amazing kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Not a lot of stairs

Disappointing Policy Regarding "Dirt Cup" Dessert at hearth and hillAs a frequent patron of hearth and hill I must express my disappointment with a recent policy regarding their "Dirt Cup" dessert. While the establishment boasts a diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere, their decision to restrict the availability of the "Dirt Cup" solely to patrons aged 10 and under is baffling and exclusionary.Upon visiting hearth and hill and perusing the dessert menu, I was excited to indulge in the nostalgic delight of a "Dirt Cup," only to be informed by the server that it is reserved exclusively for younger diners. As a 56-year-old individual, I found this policy to be both perplexing and disheartening.Firstly, age should not be a determining factor in one's enjoyment of a dessert. The "Dirt Cup" is a beloved treat that transcends generational boundaries, evoking fond memories of childhood for individuals of all ages. By restricting access to this dessert based solely on age, hearth and hill is effectively alienating a significant portion of its customer base who may have been eager to indulge in this classic sweet treat.Furthermore, such a policy undermines the inclusive and accommodating atmosphere that hearth and hill strives to cultivate. Diners of all ages should feel welcomed and valued, without arbitrary restrictions placed on their dining experience. By implementing this age-based limitation on the "Dirt Cup," hearth and hill is sending a message that certain menu items are off-limits to those deemed too old to enjoy them, which is not only discriminatory but also contrary to the spirit of hospitality. In conclusion, I urge hearth and hill to reconsider their policy regarding the availability of the "Dirt Cup" dessert. By removing age restrictions and embracing inclusivity, they can ensure that all patrons, regardless of age, can enjoy the full range of culinary delights that the establishment has to offer. Until then, I must regrettably express my disappointment and hope for a more equitable dining experience in the future.Wheelchair accessibility: Not too many stairs
